Went in at noon on a Saturday and there only appeared to be one person working who sat us. Paid for food via their QR code site and sat for 30 minutes without our drinks arriving until I went to the bar myself to ask about them. Sat for another 30 minutes being told our food was on the way with nothing arriving. Went back to the bar and only then did she say our order was never received. Took another 10 minutes on the phone with customer service for whoever does their ticketing to get a refund for my order.
Luz should be ashamed. She was obviously the owner or manager at least who claimed it was not her fault the order was never submitted when she could clearly see it on their register.
Three different parties walked out after not being attended to or served timely. If you don’t have the personnel to be open today, put up a sign and say so. All you’ve done is piss off people who read the sterling reviews about the food and leave with this experience

They took a literal hour and don’t ever acknowledge their fault they didn’t get our order despite taking our money right away. Avoid this place, we watched 4 parties leave after being ignored too. Had to go to the bar 30m after placing our order to get the drinks they didn’t bring out, 15m later we were told our food was “on the way to us” and then a further 15m we had to go back inside to check, only to be told that the kitchen never received our order despite Luz having the ticket on her till system.
If you are in a rush, this place is not for you. Order a beer/drink while you wait for your order. Relax, it might be a while. There is usually one server/runner/bartender; he is super nice and yes, he will be running around.
The food is amazing. The ceviches are fresh, perhaps made to order. I tried the trio and I could not tell you which was the best. Loved them all. The fish taco was excellent, too. I really like this place. Yes, they are slow or maybe understaffed but, it might be a family business and rents in CA are not cheap. My beef with this place isn’t any of that. My beef is that you never know if they’ll be open so, call first. I’ve tried a Friday, nop. A Tuesday, nop. A Monday, nop. So make sure you call before you head out there. If you are lucky and they are open, you are in for a treat.

They charge you for a 16oz draft beer but show up with a 12oz bottle and don't give a refund.
Then, they forget your order for over an hour. They never check back in with you, other orders are filled while you're waiting without food.
Can't rate the food as I never got it, and after an hour and 20 minutes asked for a refund which they eventually granted (it took another 15 minutes for the refund)

I went there for the reviews. The place inside doesn't look good. I was skeptical about the food. Surprisingly it was really good. I got a ceviche cooked shrimp.

I wish this place was better. Party of 5 with 2 kids (7 and 11) on a Sunday to sit on the patio at about 6pm. 2 servers on trying their best to keep things moving. Our server had the kiss tattoo on his neck - I think he’s new. He sat us then didn’t come back for a long time (3 tables inside 2 tables outside for him and the other gal working). By the time he came back we ordered everything - food and drinks - all at once. Drinks took a long time to come out but at least they brought the kids their apple juice first. My Paloma was exactly what I needed - refreshing! It made me go from a 1 to a 4 star. Time goes by, kids are starving and I ask if they could please bring the chips and guac we ordered and he tells me no - all of our food was placed at once so it will come out as it’s ready. I said really? The kids are hungry could you help us please? He finally did. Back down to a 3. Ceviche was good, chips came out hot from the frier. I enjoyed my grilled fish taco but they didn’t bring any of the salsas so it was super bland. Finally flagged down the gal (super nice) and she brought a bunch - the red was awesome and exactly what the taco needed - just 10 mins sooner! This place is so close to being awesome. A couple of small things and it could be amazing. What stands out as a positive is the food, the patio for dogs and kids.
Kid-friendliness: Kid and dog friendly. Kids menu is very basic - fish and chips or a quesadilla. My older kid (11) ate the fish taco instead.

The food was amazing services a little slow, but I think they were understaffed today. Great place to get a good healthy meal and some cold beer.

Very small place. Food was not the best. Ceviche was warm. I ordered a michelada and I had no option for beer, he said they only make it with house beer. My Only beer option after that was Pacifico and corona. At one point of the night they ran out of pacifo.

The ceviche was good, service was terrible because there's only 1 guy working the place. I ordered a margarita and it was ice and margarita mix, I sent it back and the server admitted it was ice and margaritas mix..... the server still charged me for it. Go somewhere else for a decent time.
