I will not be returning back as I did not have a good experience. The main reason was because of the poor customer service. The staff was not friendly, nor cordial. I ordered pastries and an iced mocha. I asked for a refund for my drink as I waited through two customers after me, and no one had started making my drink yet. I was pretty confident it was never going to get started. I did not receive an apology, however my refund was given.

Croissants were dense, not fluffy at all. Breakfast sandwich was gross. I've never had French onion soup without either bread/croutons or cheese

Came to have lunch here with my mom and overall a bad experience. My mom got a cup of French onion soup and found something small and hard in it which shouldn’t have been in soup. We asked what it could be and with an eye roll were told “it’s just a pistachio”. No sorry, no attempt to correct it. We perused the menu and couldn’t find pistachio in any of the items either which begs the question of what was it doing in French onion soup in the first place. We also ordered sandwiches, my mom’s came and 10 minutes later I still hadn’t gotten mine. I went up to the counter to see it had been sitting there, so I ended up grabbing it and serving myself. When a waiter saw me do this she just gave me a blank stare, no sorry or let me help you. I understand this place has mostly young adults in their early 20s that work here but management could do a better job of teaching some customer service. Cherry on top of the cake was the dirty fork they expected me to use, again had to find someone to ask for a fork and it was met with attitude.

The baker here is not as skilled. We enjoyed Champagne's food for a long time in Irvine until it closed. They had a superb baker there. With that memory in mind we came to this location. The Jesuit and the spinach goat quich were underbaked. The croissant taste -rather weird. Clearly not what we were expecting from a Champagne location.

I stopped in yesterday for brunch. The food was OK. But the woman who brought it over to me bumped into the table, and spilled coffee all over the table, and my phone! She just looked at the table, and turned and walked away. She did not apogize, offer to help me clean it up, call the Manager, nothing. Fortunately my phone was OK. But I don't feel anxious to return there.

I love the place. The food and the cakes are really good. But the service is terrible. They are not organized. They have 2-3 people in the cakes, the cashier, and other stuff. But most of the time all the people is doing the same thing. They are not organized. They take long times to take and order. Sometimes since all of them are focused on the same thing, your food is in a counter, waiting there because no one can just grab it and take it to your table.
This leads to the tables being constantly dirty because again, all of them are doing the same thing and no one is cleaning them.

Great place, but they need to improve the entire service.

Went In to check out . Their selection of pastries ended up deciding on getting one of the mini bread puddings that I got into. It tasted funny at first and then once I opened it up it tasted moldy not a good first impression. They seem upset that i would say anything . They want gifted me a new selection of dessert which I picked the lemon tart and I paid for it by adding the money on the tips jar so nothing was free and feel confident in my review honest and unbiased opinion. Hopefully the lemon tarts is good. I'm pretty sure most people don't say anything if something 's doesn't taste right. They seem like the quiet type ....they not like us.

The pastries are supper good and good location! When I’m craving pastries and first place on my mind is Champagne Bakery! Once I met some staff not friendly that’s bcoz my Asian accent however it’s not a big deal for me bcoz the pastries in your shop can make me smile ;)

May 19 at 10:40 AM we were going inside the store with the family and right before we get inside , we got hit by hearing one of the young female employee is talking on the phone and cursing and using F words and not considering that , there are kids and family around (she was on her break because she was eating food right outside)
BUT that's no problem

10:45 am we place the order and another young female employee at the cash register (Carlie H ) Took my order and gave me paper cops instead of mug, even though I ask her for the mug, but that is absolutely fine.
She apologize to me and she said her mind is not there today.
It's all good so far. that happens to everybody.

10:52 AM they took my food to the wrong table and got it back to our table.
still no problem again.

When we received the food, 3 things on the order was wrong and I do have the receipt to show and Clarify to whoever wants to get back to me in case , but still no problem. I ate my food no biggie.

10:59 AM they got the wrong order delivered to the couple next to me so they had to return it back to the kitchen.

11:03 AM they came back to those couple who were sitting next to me, but their food was inside the bag to go which they never ask for that so they had to return the food back to the kitchen and put it on the plate.
When they brought the food to them finally , it was cold and they both rejected their food so they took it back to kitchen to warm it up.

11:08 AM one person came from outside tables with his breakfast because he got the wrong food.

11:14 AM, the lady came from inside the kitchen (back) to the front and started to yell and talk aggressively to both cooks in front of all the customers ( in Spanish ) and it was very awkward and weird silent

I know I wrote a lot of negative sentence but I love that place and it's been many years that me and my family go to the same spot and I thought the only way that I can make the owner/manager understand the situation , is to write this.
Great food and nice location just coordinate with the few teenagers employees that they careless, unfortunately, and probably leave this job and go to the other job for 50 Cent more soon . It's just very sad to see it.
