I came here after work on a Friday night. It just so happen to be a Padres vs Dodgers game and this place was packed! I mean, for your regular local bar... it was poppin'! Everyone had a good, positive vibe watching the game regardless of the rivalry (there was a mix of both fans here) they didn't have the jukebox playing, so it was strictly game time vibes! But as soon as the game ended, Jaqui, the bartender at the time, turned the music UP! Jaqui was the ONLY bartender serving the patrons all night! She not only was running around like crazy but she kept such an inviting, friendly smile the whole time! She made sure to keep a conversation going with her guests as well. While I was here, I didn't hear of any complaints about the service. Jaqui made sure my refreshments 😜 were always full as well. She's by far the best I've seen yet!! Overall, it's a cool bar to chill at during baseball games or even to have a night cap after work! & with Jaqui as your bartender, you'll leave here on a positive note and I bet you'll be back 😋😉

I wasn't aware they had food but the drinks were well made. The staff was super sweet and the music/ambience was fun. Everyone seemed to be in a great mood. No drama. Just relaxed vibe and good people. We will definitely be back to visit again soon.

Love this bar but the bar tender Tony SUCKS. I mean this guy is so unprofessional. He is extremely rude from the start. He is not friendly at all and even when there are customers he tells them to kick rocks( the night i met him there were like 15 ppl in the bar and he made us all leave at 12) Jackie is so awesome love her. . Love this bar but Tony.. you gotta go bro. Your passive aggression is not cool. It was 11:30 he started putting chairs up told us we shouldn't order drinks cuz he closes at 12. Bragged about working at the hard rock hotel and told us this spot was just a side job and he "makes all the drinks" he brings in his own alcohol to make drinks. This guy is so into himself he went out of his way to say look around i don't even have security. I havent had security in years because this is my bar. I don't need it. . He is just not pleasant...It was just too much. Made me feel like i was downtown San Diego and not at a regular neighborhood dive bar. What makes things even worse is there are a ton of reviews on this guy on yelp and how rude he is. How does he still have a job there??.. Tony stay at Hard Rock because the Channel 2 is a bar where we consider ppl family…We don't wanna see your tantrum fits here.
Didn't stay very long really, just had to use the restroom. I don't drink so I got a club soda and cranberry. Used to come here for the games when I did drink. Its a cool place for locals to hang out. Typically older generation, on the weekends you will find some younger folks.

Great place to hang out with friends. Drinks are reasonably priced and the bartenders are all great. Tony makes the best mixed drinks I've ever tasted and cleans everything from ceiling to floor when he's not busy. I love knowing the place is cleaned thoroughly. The girls zip around and are as friendly as can be.
