The sandwiches are fine, but they are insanely overpriced for their size.

Sandwiches are good! Great lunch spot. Come here often. Just wish it was a little less expensive, but it’s San Diego.

Sandwiches are bread is the best all washed down with Grape Kool Aid. Larger location still has organic vibes and good service.

Fun "joint!" Great food, super friendly staff, can't beat the toasted subs. I had the teriyaki sub & it was delicious!

This was my first time at Cheba Hut, and it won't be my last. I got the Kali Mist, and it was perfect!! I definitely recommend coming here if you want a quality sandwich. I'm will be back to try all their delicious sandwich ? ?

Been going here for years and the new location made it that much better. Tons of seating and a huge bar. My recommended sandwich is the Cali mist if you can handle a little spice. Devin, Kiana, Danny and Hunter are the best bar tenders IMO but generally the service is always great no matter who you get.

Ordered four sandwiches to go on 3/3/2024, including turkey, tuna melt, and pineapple/ham. In online ordering, you're asked if you want mayo/mustard. I said yes to some of the sandwiches. When we opened our sandwiches, we had a hard time telling what was what because there was so much mayo and mustard just slopped on top of the sandwiches. Not only did each of the sandwiches look unappetizing, it made for a gooey mess, and forget trying to save half of the sandwich for another meal, as it was already too mushy and would only get worse. We've eaten here a couple of times but I would definitely not recommend any additional condiments when you order from here. Doubt we'll be back (and it wasn't cheap).

my favorite sandwich shop in the san diego area. it is so fantastic. i usually order kali mist or white widow - oh my god. so, so good. the ambience is cheeky and delightful, everyone is always very friendly.

Food is really good. Different kinds of subs for everyone. I always try a different one everytime. Haven't found a favorite yet because it gets better each time I go. Love this place.
