My friend and I came down to La Jolla for the day and came across this amazing sandwich/cheese shop! The owner, Dave was so nice and gave us samples which were so good! I highly recommend this sandwich shop!

LOVED!! Turkey, havarti, and avo w/ green sauce (homemade!) on sourdough with an oatmeal cookie was š¤ - location is wonderful next to beautiful paddle boarding, snorkeling, & kayak location. Everything is quality and delicious, and Iām a a very picky food-loving person!

The family and I vacationed here and visited this sandwich shop every day for lunches while enjoying the beach. The people are friendly and the service was great! The sandwiches were delicious and hearty. The bread was fresh baked and the ingredients were also fresh. I would recommend anyone who goes to La jolla to stop by and get some really good sandwiches. It was one of my best experiences while staying there! BON APPETITE !

Nice spot to get a break from the beach. Sandwiches are good. Only drawback there is no bathroom to go to, so you use the next door restaurants which is not fare to them....so either you go to another restaurant or take your sandwich to go and don't sit down.

We ordered ahead so we could pick up and go to the beach. The staff is incredibly friendly, and you have to get the special green sauce when you go if you enjoy some spice. We had the egg salad sandwich and the evergreen on Italian rolls. They were so delicious and filling. We will absolutely be back!! Highly recommend.

This has been a staple for our family for years. Whenever we are in the San Diego area, we have to make our way to La Jolla just to visit the Cheese Shop. The sandwiches are always great. And the oatmeal cookiesā¦AWESOME! Make sure to take some to go. I have always been a big fan of the turkey, cranberry and muenster sandwich. Very tasty. Definitely make plans to grab lunch here while Iām the area.
