So good! Got the turkey and cranberry on pumpernickel and it was delicious. Little hole in the wall sandwich shop with patio seating. The oatmeal cookies are to die for. Wish there was a restroom.

Cheese shop is a staple in the area. Fresh sandwiches, overpriced given the area, but overall good. Heavy on the mayo/mustard (at least on my sandwiches), so be mindful. Cashier was on his phone most the time I was ordering, but that’s fine I suppose. Candy inside the shop is cool and lots of foreign options (think British candies). A good choice overall for to go lunch. Always popular.

The name caught my eye but it was certainly not what I expected. Cheese shop in La Jolla sounds ritzy, instead it was cute, nostalgic and a lil quirky. The sandwich was fantastic! We got a club on the French roll, the roll was pillow soft and so flavorful, the meat and veggies were fresh and high quality. They have a wide selection and an extensive menu, but the kicker was the old-school candy assortment from over the decades. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion....
