I usually don’t review but I don’t like how the company portrays reviews as fake. I want to preface by saying I’ve never tried to get my money back or file a claim. I simply just won’t return. I’ve tried plenty times with this food truck and am disappointed. When first starting out, the food was better, but now I cannot eat it. Very VERY salty. To the point I could not eat my meal and had to throw away two meals worth over $50. The customer service was not good at all. No smiles or friendly demeanors. Especially after waiting for over 45 mins, I’d expect a little positivity in my experience. Black community… We deserve better than overly seasoned food and bad attitudes.

Was super excited to see this restaurant open so close to home. Went to the soft opening and it did not disappoint. I literally dream about their yams. Can’t wait for them to open!!

Food is 🔥🔥🔥 I ordered the big greedy because it came with a little bit of everything plus got to choose my 2 sides. Food was hot and made to order which is always a plus. I went with the mac and cheese and greens. Need to go back again and try a refresher, those look really good.

I had high hopes for this food truck, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The fried chicken was greasy, overcooked, and lacked seasoning. The breading was soggy instead of crispy, and the meat was dry. On top of that, the wait time was over 30 minutes even though there were only a few people in line.

The staff didn’t seem very organized, and when I finally got my order, it was missing the side I paid for. I pointed it out, but they acted annoyed rather than apologetic. For the price, I expected way better quality and service.

I won’t be coming back. There are plenty of other spots in town that do fried chicken right—this isn’t one of them.

Tried this food truck after hearing a lot of buzz, but honestly, it was a huge letdown. The fried chicken was greasy, overcooked on the outside, and dry on the inside. The breading was thick and bland — no real seasoning or crunch, just oily and heavy.
I waited over 30 minutes for my order, which might’ve been fine if the food was worth it, but it definitely wasn’t. Even the sides were underwhelming — cold fries and a tiny portion of coleslaw that tasted store-bought.
Food trucks are supposed to be quick, flavorful, and fun. This one missed the mark on all three. I won’t be back, and I’d suggest skipping it unless they seriously step up their game.

I personally had the pleasure to try this food truck when they came out to the OC Fairgrounds and this small family business was friendly and had great customer service. The wife was very pleasant as we chat for a moment. I was very please with the portions, price and flavor of the food. Hands down i would order again if they were in OC. We definitely don’t have one here lol.
