Great food in a little neighborhood. Had a little bit of everything and it was all good! Definitely a spot to go back to.
What a beautiful space. The food is divine and omakase is very well priced here. I’d say if you’re looking to celebrate and need a budget friendly option they definitely have it here!
Their courses were great and quality. Service is impeccable we had the pleasure of being served by Lily and she was the best server I’ve had in a very long time.
I got a chance to celebrate my birthday here yesterday. It was a wonderful experience!
We each ordered a Jun San set from their omakase menu. Every dish came out delicious! Fresh, soft, and flavorful. We even got a soba and a miso soup at the end.
Wanting to try their roll, we ordered a Fire Fire roll, and it didn't disappoint us. Concluded our dinner with a Yuzu Cheesecake was a perfect choice.
We will come back to try more of the menu.
Highly recommended!
This is my fave casual sushi spot in San Diego—the food is very good and not as expensive as some other sushi places. Big fan of the crispy tuna and their uni, as well as the Jun Kun meal. However, the service is exceptional—always very friendly and happy servers whenever I go, and I see the same faces often so I hope that means they’re being treated well! Special shout out to Sal, who treated us extra well the other night.

Chef Jun is one of the highest quality sushi places that I have eaten at in San Diego. We went to celebrate my sister's birthday and we were so impressed with everything. The four of us had some salads, rolls, bluefin nigiri special, and some salmon sashimi. It was all so beautifully presented, fresh and delicious. Definitely a step above for sushi! I just traveled to Japan last January and I can definitively say that chef Jun is as authentic as it gets. You will not be disappointed. They even served a cute birthday cake with a candle for my sister!
This is the best sushi in San Diego. They check all the boxes. Excellent service. Excellent sushi. We ordered 5 appetizers, tuna hand roll, and 3 rolls. Everything was fresh with amazing flavors. Highly recommend this place.
All the sushi and sashimi were delicious.
The fish was very fresh and amazing.
It was the best sushi I’ve ever had in the U.S.
The miso soup was a bit salty... Lol
Coming from an 18 year old… The service and politeness is unmatched. The food quality is so good! We came from Arizona twice for birthdays to come here. Not sure if it’s because we’re from AZ, but it’s also cheaper here in prices. I loved everything and so did my family. We will 100% be coming here again!!
We waited so long for our sushi
