I live around the corner and walk here 1-2 times per week. $10 for an amazing burger, fries, a craft beer and a bottle of water. Where can you find that anywhere. Lamb burger and salmon salad are also top notch.

Owner is hilarious and staff is friendly. Can't recommend enough.

All very nice , food drink and service

We were in town for the weekend (twitchCon 2024) and found this place one exit away from our hotel. We liked it so much, we had it 2 days in a row (in order to sample more of the menu). The only drawback is that it is a 11 hour drive away from our home. Truly wish we could go back on a regular basis. Everything we had was well seasoned, full of flavor and fresh. The tzatziki was delicious.

I think it's a delicious and reasonably priced hamburger restaurant with the best cost performance. After ordering a burger, I was really happy to be able to enjoy a drink from the fridge, so I had a cold cup of tea for the first time in a while. The atmosphere was relaxed and there were many local customers eating there.

This place is THE very best when you combine, fresh, delicious food with a comfy and generous local neighborhood place. I don't know any other place like it in all of San Diego. It's a gem!

George, the owner, had never raised prices on his $10 special. You get a burger, fries, beer for just $10. In times when folks are having it tough, he is an angel and a Godsend!

Hole in the wall with decent food, damn good prices, fantastic and friendly service.

$11 for a Chicago dog w/fries and a beer is unheard of in this day and age;
especially in a place like La Jolla.

The spicy peppers on da beef sandwich are no joke. They got some kick!
