Chili's Grill & Bar

The smells always waft across Clairemont Mesa from this place. I finally caved and got a full order of the Nashville mozzarella sticks I’ve seen all over social media. I also ordered a QP Burger with fries.

The burger was by far the highlight. It was juicy, well-seasoned, and fairly saucy. Everything on it was fresh and delicious. The fries were seasoned and cooked pretty well. Not incredible but pretty good.

The mozzarella sticks, on the other hand, were only fun for a couple of minutes. After I eating one I felt kind of sick. There was so much grease, and the mixture of the breading, melted cheese, Nashville dressing, and ranch was just an extreme punch to the gut. My friend had one and was laughing while eating it.

Overall I’d say Chili’s has really stepped up their burger game in recent years. The QP Burger is great. The mozzarella sticks are HEAVY. Get an order of 3 if you really want to try them.

The food in Chili’s is good. The waiters are nice but sometimes they don’t attend all the time and forget to refill appetizers.

The meal was prepared well and exceeded expectations for a casual dining visit. The burger was served with a soft, glossy bun and a generous portion of toppings, including fresh lettuce, tomato, and melted cheese. The patty had good flavor and was cooked evenly. The fries were a standout, arriving hot with a crisp exterior and a well-seasoned finish that paired nicely with the entrée.

The side salad was fresh and balanced. The greens were crisp, the tomatoes were flavorful, and the croutons added a good texture. The dressing was applied in an appropriate amount, coating the salad without overwhelming it.

Service was prompt and attentive. Water refills were quick, and the staff ensured everything arrived correctly. The overall experience was consistent and enjoyable, making it a reliable stop for a quality meal.

Tony is a wonderful server, the best there is! His service was impeccable and we accidentally ordered something wrong and he helped us fix it. Food was really good and they always kept in check with the refills.

Good food but our server seemed to not really care that we were there. This did not affect my rating but they also ran out of the little Glinda wands for the Wicked drinks which was a bummer! We were seated quickly. The host was warmer than the server.

Steak was cooked perfectly. Shoutout whoever cooked this up tonight.

The hostesses are friendly and kind. The food was good but I wish they had churros for dessert!

I was here yesterday on 11/8/25 and the food was delicious and the Atmosphere was great and the service was on point I'll for sure be back here soon again :)
