My experience at Choi's (SanDiego) was amazing, exquisite, and delightful.

Service was beyond amazing:
Staff welcomes you genuinely, they are attentive to my allergies, my food preferences, and basically anything to make my experience a 5 🌟 and beyond

The food!
Its something different, something we needed here in San Diego, an exquisite form of fusion between Korean and American food!
I tried:
-Yellow tail Crudo (beyond amazing) it has that a coconut creme that enhances all the flavors and its a party in your mouth!
-CHOI'S crispy chicken is to die for, Im coming back for this during lunch.
-K-Town Lobster šŸ¦ž with crispy riceballs
Those 3 are my favorites even though it took me a bit to chose because everything on the menu is delicios, this were some of the servers recommendation!

Javier was awesome explaining the menu; I was amazed of how good it sounded and it was even better than it sounds! Thabk You!

Last but not least, the atmosphere and ambiance is friendly, welcoming, family oriented as well. I Brought my two teens and theyre treated with the same courtesy as an adult which I absolute loved! Will be co.ing again and I am definitely spreading the word on this place!

If you’re looking to try something different from the usual steak, burgers, seafood, Mexican, or pizza, check out Chois for some great Korean cuisine. The staff is amazing, and if you sit at the bar, Ryle, Josh, and JP will keep you entertained. If you’re nice enough, they might even let you try a shot of their Kraken soju concoction. They do some really interesting things with their soju mixes, experimenting with different alcohol recipes and flavors.

We love kimchi, so we started with the kimchi salad, which was great. Since we were feeling pretty hungry, we decided to try the Tomahawk. After reading the description, I was expecting something a bit saltier, more along the lines of a traditional steakhouse flavor. The item is called the Galbi Tomahawk, and the description does hint that it’s different, but it still surprised us a bit.

It’s also something you normally have to order 24 hours in advance, but we got lucky because someone else didn’t show up for their reservation. It is a bit pricey, and while it was good, we weren’t expecting the sweeter flavor profile.

There were a lot of other things on the menu we wanted to try, but the steak was pretty huge and filled us up. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you want to try something different and experience some creative Korean dishes and drinks.

I’ll be honest, I’m a pretty picky eater and usually stick to the same few things when I go out to eat. This place wasn’t something I would normally choose, but I decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did. Everything was amazing! The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It completely exceeded my expectations. Even as someone who is usually hard to please when it comes to food, I left really impressed. I’ll definitely be coming back!

5 out of 5 stars. Our experience at Choi’s was delicious and attentive. The staff were so kind. Chef Choi came out to greet us for our anniversary celebration and made us feel so welcome and cared for. Josh the Sommelier had excellent pairings and knowledge on the wines. Ambiance was beautiful. We indulged in the fresh $1 oysters, refreshing intentional cocktails, the kimchi salad was by far my favorite dish followed by the octopus (amazing flavor profile) and the rack of lamb in chef Choi’s chimichurri *chefs kiss*. Will be returning for the service and food, &that delicious ginger lemon digestive.

My family and I had such a great time! It’s not just about the food, you’re really paying for the whole experience. From the thoughtful greeting card when you reserve the table to the attentive service. The food was great with plenty of options to share, and finishing with dessert was the perfect ending. Will definitely come back again!

Great servers, they love their food and love to share it. Ask them what they recommend! Javier was a great server.

Ocotopus appetizer has a good spicy flavor to it. Yellowtail Crudo is refreshing, the crunch was a perfect amount for me.

We tried the Tomahawk for our wedding celebration. The butter really makes it delicious & the mango salsa was phenomenal. Mangos were super fresh & sweet, contrasting the acidity of the pickled kimchi. The bean sprouts help cleanse and balance your palate as well.

We celebrated my wife's birthday at Choi and it was such a great experience. From the host to the owner, everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed. The Korean fried chicken was crispy and packed with flavor, and the miso cod was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. For dessert, the ā€œNot Really Cheesecakeā€ and the pancake were the perfect sweet ending to the night. We loved how they incorporated San Diego flavors into each Korean dish. Great food, great vibe, and a perfect spot for a special occasion.

By far one of the best restaurants I've been to. Drinks and refreshers were all excellent in their own ways. Loved the kimchi salad and yellowtail crudo appetizers. Both were delicious. Had the Risotto and Miso Lingcod as entree's. Lingcod was delicious. Risotto was unique and different. Would definitely love to try other entrees. Desserts were great. And had a great experience with the staff.
