A Filipino fast food chain with both Filipino and Chinese-based menu options. Since it's fast food, don't come here expecting a high quality meal, but you're paying more for the convenience. Located right next to Seafood City so it's easy to stop by here for a quick meal after grocery shopping. I got one of their combo meals to go. I think I still prefer the Chinese fast food at Panda Express, and while I wasn't wowed, I don't think the food was necessarily bad either. Seems like most of the negative reviews are regarding the service. I didn't have any issues personally, although I also came during an off hour where they weren't busy at all. Overall, mediocre food but not bad for the price and convenience. I would probably only stop by again if I was already doing some shopping next door and just wanted to grab something quick to eat.

I love going to this store. Best siopao in town! Garlic chicken is hands down the best tasting chicken! The crew is always smiling and friendly and this store is always looking clean.
Terrible experience. Terrible customer service. Mid food. It's run by workers who clearly don't care about customers.I waited 34 minutes for a simple order of 1 beef rice bowl and 1 siopao. While others who ordered after me and who just entered that ordered A LOT of items too were given their orders first! One customer was also ignored when they got the wrong type of siopao and said " you should pay attention to your customers" while the cashier gave no reaction. There was no accountability and no reaction from the employees that's clearly unbothered by their incompetence and communication skills to deal with it. It's not about the time I waited that upsets me the most, it's how they (NOT) handled it. Just straight faces. Once i see that my order was ready the girl i've been reminding of my order did not pay attention to it and worked on other orders! It's wither she didn't know what she's doing or it was a passive poor attitude. Joke of a restaurant, never going back to this ghetto place, and I hope this place shuts down.

Bad customer service. What a way to start a review. Came in on a Sunday morning 09/24/23 at around 11:00. Ordered the breakfast combo which should include coffee and the Mami combo which should also include a drink. We received our order and came to find out that the coffee was missing. The cashier was argumentative when we told her that we did not receive the coffee. No apologies whatsoever. They eventually gave the coffee after reviewing our order. Again, no apologies. While we are enjoying the Mami, Taho and rice combo, we heard a customer complaining about the decline in flavor of one of the entree. While he was exiting, the cashiers were talking about him non stop. One of them was even cursing and voicing her frustrations. She stated that it was not her fault and that the customer should file a complaint at the corporate office since they are in charge of the production. This cashier was non stop talking trash about the poor customer. To our dismay, we could not finish our meal and left. We could not stand this cashier who is ungrateful of her customers. By the way, they are not wearing name tags or badges so I could not specify this unfortunate lady. She is the most outspoken among the group. Chowking, you have work to do to send this employee to some classes in costumer service.

Been a few years since we've been to a Chowking. The food was awesome and the siopao is excellent.I only wish that they bring back the Braised Beef as it is my favorite.

Disappointed with the noodle chicken soup! The noodles were super soggy! I called to let them know but I was told that this is how to cook the noodles now. I disagree with their explanation. Something in the way they cook the noodles changed big time!!!
