This is good for quick entertainment. Not one of the nicest in San Diego. The games are often broken and/or not working, and this location is frequently short staffed. My daughter still likes it as it's nearby and a good way to spend an hour.

Worst Chuck E. Cheese I’ve ever been to. Half the games did not work, so we wasted our points on games that didn’t work. The staff was incredibly rude, I understand that they were tied and had a long day but it’s no excuse to be as rude as they were. Then when I tried redeeming my tickets for my daughter to get a prize, the employee ignored us and made us wait at the counter for almost 5 min before coming up. Then proceeded to walk away mid exchange to attend to something else without telling us what she was doing. She came back to complete the transaction after a few min but atleast let us know that you had to step away. Everything was dirty and not up kept, felt like myself and my kid needed a shower after leaving. In addition, if I’m paying for the GOLD pass for Chuck E. Cheese, I shouldn’t have to pay EXTRA for my daughter to use the playground. I was unaware I had to pay extra, and my kid was having a blast in the playground when the employee rudely came up and told me to get her off it without paying first.

The management is absolute trash. They closed their kitchen before the store closed, but couldn’t mention that before allowing me to pay $100 for everything else. I asked if I could bring in something from outside for my 3 year old and the guy said no due to allergy concerns. 😒 I asked if we could get the salad bar since it was still up. I’m fine with just the one trip. He said no. I asked for a manager, and Sam came out just blurting out there’s nothing they could do or be even slightly accommodating in any way because it’s Christmas and they have to be out the door at 5pm. “Upper management makes the rules she just has to follow them.” Horrible service. This place is for kids… and clearly this store and its management do not care about kids one bit. Btw, 20 minutes later the salad bar still hasn’t been touched and is sitting there fully intact.

This location has been open since I was a child and they are still very much busy and good for the kids! Worth the visit if you need to entertain kids in an indoor environment

Clean
Not always, but mostly well staffed, they don't always have someone at the door stamping hands. We went yesterday and we never saw anyone stamping any hands that's not a good thing other than that. It's wonderful

On oct 4th, I hosted my son’s birthday party here, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing!!!!!
The staff cleared the entire birthday table (you can see in the picture) before we even had a chance to use it, even though it was untouched right at the time of our reservation without any wait. I even had confirmed with the staff that we needed the table for 30 more minutes, and there were no other parties scheduled after us. They neither asked nor waited, which was extremely embarrassing in front of our guests and completely ruined the party.
I hope management will take this feedback seriously and take steps to improve their customer service.

Very bad experience!
On September 29, we visited Chuck E. Cheese with my wife and child. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, and within just one hour both my wife and child got food poisoning.

Now it’s the second day, and my child still has fever, weakness, and diarrhea. This is unacceptable and very dangerous for kids. Clearly, the food was not fresh or sanitary conditions were poor. Families should be very careful to eat here!

Chuck E Cheese is very affordable. Kids, especially young ones, love it. There is one location around 5 min drive from our home. We go there often for game play or celebrating birthdays. We celebrated our daughter's birthday there last night. A staff helped us to light our candles and gave us extra plates and cups for water.

The supervisor on shift Jonathan was extremely rude and unprofessional. We spent almost $200 for the kids to play to have most of the games down. When I asked what can be done to have this fixed he had to call a general manager, because he was unable to problem solve. Even after reporting which games were not working I did not see any of the staff attempt to fix the games that were reported down. I will not be coming back for the soul fact that the managers on shift were not able to problem solve and use their “customer service” skills to satisfy paying customer.
