Everything was going great until they forgot to bring me my tacos.
The "Keka" Taco is not a taco. It is a declaration of war against hunger, against mediocrity, against the sad, pale shadows of what lesser places dare call “Mexican food.” A hand-made corn tortilla, thick and supple, griddled to golden perfection, cradling a heaping pile of perfectly charred carne asada, melty cheese binding it all together in gooey, beef-fat ecstasy. It’s part taco, part quesadilla, and all masterpiece. You bite in, and suddenly, life makes sense. The rich, smoky beef, the salty-sweet cheese, the slightly crisp, slightly chewy tortilla—it’s the kind of balance you’d expect from a kitchen that’s been perfecting this for generations. There’s a snap of acidity from whatever salsa you dare to douse it with, maybe a hit of lime if you’re feeling particularly self-indulgent. It’s greasy in all the right ways. Messy, joyous, an experience meant to be eaten with both hands and zero shame. This is the taco dreams are made of. The kind of meal that makes you question why you ever wasted time on anything less. A 10 out of 10. Hell, an 11. If you don’t eat this, you are failing at life.
long lines! place smell like trash! not organized! food not taste good!
Delicious tacos 😋😋😋 they are the closest to Tijuana style tacos among the ones I tried in San Diego. Juicy and well seasoned meat, salsa with a bit of kick, hand made tortilla (right in front of you) and lots of fresh avocado!!! Be prepared for the wait. It can take about 30-40 minutes to order, but after that it is done in minutes. Well worth the wait. And you can see all the meat and tortillas being made in front of you while you stand in the line. Pet friendly as well!!
Parking: There is a free parking lot which is quite small, so a lot of times it is better to find street parking nearby.
Kid-friendliness: Kid and pet friendly

Little space to eat but it was still recommended for my taste, the meat al pastor was in a medium level, I like it golden brown but the roast meat was very good and not to mention the head meat very good

I’m giving five stars all around the Carne Asada is absolutely to die for it was so delicious that we are going back and it’s only been a few days. The Al Pastor Was also delicious, but our favorite hands-down was the Carne Asada keka. The tortilla on that is so soft and delicious and it’s also handmade. The staff was super nice and even though the line was down the block it went very quick. The atmosphere Is an outdoor table seating under heat lamps, but it was perfect. We will be repeat customers and be spreading the word to all of our friends because it was that delicious.

The truth is I went for the first time, but I won't return. I didn't like the adobada ones, they were serving it almost raw and the adobo was too seasoned.

Some of the best tacos north of Tijuana. Plenty of seating for that perfect after party taco with your friends. The kekas are huge!

These tacos really have a delicious flavor. My husband and I ordered the Keka of carne asada, it was bigger than my hand, the handmade tortillas were delicious, the meat came out from so much they put in it and a lot of avocado, the sauces definitely have a Delicious flavor, they have several sauce options and they are all delicious. The worst tacos I have ever eaten, the tripe ones are my favorites and you can't imagine... the tripe UNWASHED INSIDE!!!! The shepherd's burned meat I can't believe it... I just threw away my money.
Awesome tacos, good service and plenty of drink options. Got he carne asada, Al pastor and cabeza tacos and they were all very good. One other side note, they are not cheap on the avocado.
