Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas Del Mar

The movie theater is absolutely filthy. We will not be going back. The carpets are moldy looking, the chairs were sticky and you can see mold around the cup holders. Don’t shine your light in there. It’s nasty. I ordered a coke I could not even drink because I can taste mold in the line.

Beautiful theater, great seats. The location is great, bunch of restaurants to choose from. Although my only complaint is that an employee told us to come back to the showing, but we were told to wait for longer, that’s the only thing but I don’t work a job. We had a fantastic employee for our experience, he was great and responsive for service and helped me find my wallet, great place for a good time with friends

A bit worn down + the slowest service ever. It would be great if they’d open up the concessions for people to have the option to pick between picking up their own food/drink or ordering through their seats and waiting 45 mins

The seats recline and are not heated. Heated seats aren't really needed in San Diego. There's food and drink delivery to your seat. The theaters were remodeled fairly recently. The sound system was being tested after one of the movies which was interesting.

No matter where you sit in the theater, you will be distracted by a light that's misplaced either an exit sign or a floor light.

First time here and the service was absolutely horrid. No one ever came for follow up orders, people were waiting for their orders and never got them. I never received my drink and had to go get it, no refills, and the worst thing is no one cared. The waiters were joking around in the lobby and for 2 hours never checked for call lights. I will never return here.

Phenomenal food and environment

Went last night. Service was bad. Never got our refills. The concept of people interrupting the movie throughout, probably not that great either. They were late on the handing out receipts, they have my card on file they can charge that. I see on my transactions they took the liberty to give themselves a nice tip, which was not deserved. All around not a good experience for watching movies.

Very good location to celebrate a birthday or anniversary.

Nice theater with solid food and drink selection. Clean facility, but some minor crumbs and debris may be left over in seats

I really enjoyed the movie Sinners and I could not wait to see it on a streaming service.

I chose to see Sinners at Cinépolis Del Mar because I recently had hip surgery and I needed to sit in a chair that reclined to at least 135 degrees. Cinépolis Del Mar have seats that recline past 135 degrees. Unfortunately, my seat was broken and would not recline. Additionally, the light beside my seat was also not working so I had to use my phone to see the menu, and the call button for the server did not work either.

The Cinépolis Del Mar experience is a great concept but the theaters are getting a little run down and need renovating.

The movie and staff were EXCELLENT! I just couldn't enjoy the movie in comfort because of the reasons listed above.

So luxurious! You sit down, press the button and someone comes to take your order. Loved the experience. I'll be back for sure!
