Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas Del Mar

Went last night. Service was bad. Never got our refills. The concept of people interrupting the movie throughout, probably not that great either. They were late on the handing out receipts, they have my card on file they can charge that. I see on my transactions they took the liberty to give themselves a nice tip, which was not deserved. All around not a good experience for watching movies.

Very good location to celebrate a birthday or anniversary.

Nice theater with solid food and drink selection. Clean facility, but some minor crumbs and debris may be left over in seats

I really enjoyed the movie Sinners and I could not wait to see it on a streaming service.

I chose to see Sinners at Cinépolis Del Mar because I recently had hip surgery and I needed to sit in a chair that reclined to at least 135 degrees. Cinépolis Del Mar have seats that recline past 135 degrees. Unfortunately, my seat was broken and would not recline. Additionally, the light beside my seat was also not working so I had to use my phone to see the menu, and the call button for the server did not work either.

The Cinépolis Del Mar experience is a great concept but the theaters are getting a little run down and need renovating.

The movie and staff were EXCELLENT! I just couldn't enjoy the movie in comfort because of the reasons listed above.

So luxurious! You sit down, press the button and someone comes to take your order. Loved the experience. I'll be back for sure!

Worst movie theater experience, I will never be back. The fact that people can order the entire movie and there’s 5 servers coming in and out of the theater with flashlights talking and taking orders RUINED the movie for us. I’m disgusted that I paid $42 for my son and I to come here. We usually go to Angelica which is amazing but the movie we wanted to see wasn’t showing there. I will never be back!

This place is very dirty. The seats are crummy and have crusties all around the cup holders and the leather is sticky.

Ok, first the warning. The seats are so very comfortable, that you may be at risk of falling asleep. However, it's such a great way to see a movie. Plus, you can order at your seat and they'll bring your food and drinks to you. Luxury. So, go, relax, recline, eat, drink, and enjoy the show.

I'm writing because I had not been back to cali in over 15 years and I love the food and culture here just because of the 3 stars doesn't mean service was bad, my waiter and every employee upheld the standard for the theater everything was good but I am a person of detail so service from purchasing tickets to getting food order was a 5 out of 5, but theater was too dark when movie started I like to be able to see and enjoy what I am eating, and some of the lights didn't appear near steps when the lights were off and detailed cleaning , debris around cup holders should never be overlooked. other than that my visit was great!

My husband and I enjoy watching movies here, and the food is always really good!

Luxury?! Where? My recliner was broken and when I told the worker she said oh ok. And walked away. Literally so frustrating when you pay so much money for the experience and this is what you get. Don't waste your money. Just go to AMC or Regal.
