This place was so cute inside. We tried the latte flight and I order the la patron sampler and my husband ordered the del Mercado. The food was very delicious. My only complaint was my La patron was kinda cold.
Just a reminder it does not have a bar. They did make me wait until full party arrived before seating me although my server table was ready. The food was good and large portions. It was a bit noisy to where you could not hear others around talking when they did multiple table celebrations. Next time I will probably just order my food Togo
Good food and nice staff, but they're over-crowded inside the restaurant. Service was a bit slow as a result. Felt rushed to get in/out.
Another great visit to Cocina 35. The food and wait staff were good as usual. The food is very typical of Culiacán, Sinaloa, and truly reminds me of my mom's cooking. The chilaquiles with chipotle were excellent, the corn tamale was also great, and the pepino water was super refreshing. We made reservations and were seated promptly, which made the experience even better. Always a great choice.
Truly some very delicious chilaquiles! A very fun and unique menu (why have I never seen a latte flight before?) with quick service and reasonable prices. We had a large party, so it took 20 minutes to seat us even with reservations, but worth the wait. Definitely worth a visit (or revisit). Downsides were only 1 bathroom, so usually occupied when/if you had to go, and waiting area is not in the nicest part of downtown, and there is no seating or obvious spot to wait safely.
One of my favorite spots in. Best chilaquiles in SD. The sampler platters are also great for trying different things at once.

We had a party of 12, made reservations for 830 am, it was already busy but service was excellent! Drinks and meals out in a timely manner, every one was impressed with the menu selection! This visit was a treat! We will go again!

Thanks for the food but I don't like when the restaurant gives you the account and said "no pressure" and the space between tables are to small, people can't really walk and you have to move when someone is walking behind you(the tables with chairs in the middle).
Teresa was very nice!!! And the food was great. 10/10

I definitely recommend reserving in the app! Do not walk in and they help you much quicker:)
We have now had Cocina 35 both times we have been in San Diego. Some of the best chilequiles we have ever had! Try the bomba. The cochinita pibil is amazing!
This was one of the most satisfying breakfast we've had in a long time. Everything including our ice Mexican mocha was delicious we'll definitely be back!!
