So, I hit up the Cold Stone in Clairemont the other day, right? And honestly, it was just...good. Like, really good. You know how sometimes ice cream places are kinda meh? Not this one. The staff was super chill, actually seemed to enjoy making my 'Our Strawberry Blonde' (which, by the way, was amazing). Everything tasted fresh, and they didn't skimp on the mix-ins! Plus, it was clean, which, let's be real, is always a plus. If you're craving some good ice cream in Clairemont, you won't be disappointed.

I asked if they could write Happy Birthday and this is how it came out. I paid $60 for this ice cream cake. Whoever runs this shop needs to make sure all their cake decorators are capable of basic pretty handwriting because I could’ve written better on my own, and now the cake looks so bad. Also the Oreos aren’t even evenly placed. $60!!!!

Extremely rude unhelpful staff. Got a $5 off coupon and it wouldn't work the staff rather than helping where incredibly rude about it and extremely unprofessional and unhelpful.

Terrible experience at this cold stone the last few visits, they limit you to 1 sample per person which is ridiculous. Not at all inviting. Portions were completely unacceptable for the sizes we ordered. sad to this this place has gone downhill over the years. $11 for a medium ice cream and it didn’t even fill the cup.

My daughters love cold stone and we typically go to the old town one because the service is great and the portion for the kids and the like it size are so generous but we’ve came to the Clairemont town square location a couple of times too because the theater is next door and every time the service from Diana I believe her name was, is awful and the portion is ridiculous. We always say we aren’t coming back but we did again and again we were let down. See pictures of how small the portion was for the kids size and for the price how disappointed!! Definitely won’t be back again. We will make the drive to old town. My daughter had not ate any at all. This is how the employee gave it to her.

LITERALLY THE WORST cold stone ever. Zero sense of urgency from staff. My second time here first time I purchased something and the blonde lady said I’m making her job “difficult” because I asked for 3 caramel apples literally ONLY 3 apples she didn’t even have scoop anything. I said nothing thanked her and paid. 2nd time here today it was her again and a younger gentleman both didn’t even greet me I was in there for 5 mins and no one said a word it was like us customers never existed or even feel welcomed.
