I love this place so much. Every time I visit San Diego I have to come here. The seasonal cocktails are awesome. the yaaass queen was so good. they accommodate my wheelchair. No problem. I always feel welcome.I wasn't able to go this trip and I deeply apologize. I may delay my flight so I can sneak in a visit here again. I love this place!!

Came here on my birthday after a quick google search. It was the perfect choice. I think they had the Rihanna Spotify playlist playing bc banger after banger was playing. The two waiters were very attentive and really friendly. I ordered the Alexis rose to drink and it was really nice. We split the hot honey sandwich, the ribs, the roasted carrots and parsnips, and the fries. We finished everything except one rib because we were absolutely stuffed! I really enjoyed the dressing for the carrots. It tasted a little like goat cheese. The ribs were so tender as well. I mentioned it was my bday and the waiter sent us two chocolate chip cookies which were freshly baked and absolutely amazing. If I lived here I would be back often!

They charge $14 for a drip coffee which is ridiculous. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Cute neighborhood restaurant/bar. Food was good, especially the chicken bites. Unfortunately, as mentioned in other reviews, the service is really lacking.

We ordered two shared dishes to start (chicken bites and Brussels sprouts) and then a French dip. The French dip came out first. As we were finishing our main, we were given a giant plate of broccoli, which we did not order. We spoke to one server and said we had ordered the Brussels spouts, not broccoli. Their response was “so you don’t want this?” Um, no because I didn’t order it.

Throughout the meal, we were never offered refills on water or asked if we wanted another drink. At one point, a server asked if we were doing ok — but the time we were able to reply and order another drink, he had turned around and left.

It appeared that the restaurant was understaffed (seemingly two servers and one bartender) with no bar back or bus service. So the few staff were focused on cleaning and organizing and not on customers.

In short, the place has potential but really needs to get the service in order.

We had the best time at Common Stock! We had a large party and the manager, Taylor, was incredibly helpful with accommodating us. Our server had great energy and was very attentive. The drinks are SO tasty and cute (shoutout to the Alexis Rose cocktail). The food was delicious! Highly recommend the hot honey chicken sandwich and the Brussels sprouts. We'll be back very soon!!

The BEST espresso martini I’ve ever had anywhere. The food was phenomenal, we had the curry hummus, the broccoli, and the Kaarage Chicken Bites, and they were all creative and amazing. The combination of sauces was so unique and tasty, we are so happy we stopped in during our visit to San Diego. The culinary highlight of our trip thus far. The service was also wonderful - attentive, friendly, this place was perfection.

Nicolas and Camden were our servers tonight and I just wanted to highlight how great they were. They were extremely personable, quick to order/serve/refill, and just all around awesome servers. Camden was also really funny. We’ll definitely be back!

You can never go wrong with Common Stock. Even though it was Pride weekend and they were super busy, their care and attention to their customers remained the same customary quality that has me returning over and over again. The menu was a limited edition but the food was just as delicious as always.

Common Stock was a hidden find when searching for a quick drink before dinner. It has a great comfortable bar with an amazing bar tender. They have a surprising whiskey collection with outstanding house drinks. A must stop.

New late night menu starts an hour too early and lacks flavors we have come to expect from commonstock. Not likely to be back after 9pm

We were in San Diego for 4 days and came here 3/4. Food is excellent and the bartenders made us feel right at home. They also have a bangin’ happy hour. Can’t wait to come back and visit!

Came 2 1/2 years ago and I’ve been thinking of the cheddar-rosemary waffles and Nashville cauliflower ever since. Returned yesterday- no more cauliflower, but waffles met my memory, husband’s chocolate chip cookie memories met and exceeded, superb, friendly service! One hot chicken and waffles, one mild chicken and waffles, both delicious.

Thanks for living up to my food memories and setting a new bar for friendly servers!
