Opentable Diner

Amazing food and the best staff. Highly recommend. Nothing compares to how great the food is and how much they care. Can't wait to go back!

What a special meal at a wonderful restaurant. Friends from out of town were here to celebrate a birthday. We shared variety of entrees, appetizers, and dessert - all delicious. Our server was terrific and we had a lovely visit with Accursio. Thank you Cori!

We are so lucky to be near Cori. It is the best Italian in the city! Thank you for another amazing dinner!

The food was wonderful as always and the service was top notch and so friendly. This continues to be one of my favorites.

Cori is our favorite restaurant in San Diego. We have been coming here since about 2021 and Bridgette waited on us that first time and is still there serving us last night as well. She and Federico and many other familiar faces always make our experience warm and welcoming. The wine list is magnificent, the food unforgettable and the service is some of the best we have experienced. Thank you, Cori!

In short, this place was forgettable. And it's mainly based on the overall service. I couldn't tell you if the team was just over it all, tired or simply nobody cared about giving good quality service. And it all started the second we walked up to the host stand. Moving on to the food portion. Everything was subpar. While the hamachi tasted great, three slices for $21 was mildly rough (four slices would have made sense for two people, right?) The octopus needed salt in all of its components. Hard pass. The pappardelle was standard. The squid ink tasted good and somewhat comforting but not enough to order again. The dessert was great though! Would totally nibble on that again. For $180, the price tag and the whole experience didn't quite match. Sorry.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A True Gem! My wife and I have been loyal guests at Cori Pasta for years, and it remains one of our absolute favorite restaurants in San Diego. The food is consistently exceptional — authentic, flavorful, and made with real care. Every dish feels like a taste of Italy. The staff is always welcoming, attentive, and professional, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that keeps us coming back. Our family loves dining here, and we've recommended Cori Pasta to countless friends. If you're looking for genuine Italian cuisine paired with superior service, Cori Pasta is second to none.

My wife and I think Cori Pastificio has the best Italian food in San Diego. The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented, consistently. The restaurant has excellent energy, full of pleasant folks who enjoy great food. The wait staff is outstanding, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The kitchen staff does a great job only using the best produce in their salads, and their entrees are just perfect. Most highly recommended!

Bridget (and hubby) were great. Well versed, welcoming and accommodating. We love this place. The negatives are street noise and parking issues. But in general, a lovely anniversary dinner!

We came here for a wine pairing dinner. This was our first time at the restaurant. The concept of this wine dinner was different than others we've attended. It was a fixed menu with paired wines however it was done table by table vs a group style setting. I personally prefer the group style when the winemaker is there so we get more info about the winery and their methods. This style was better for our party of four as we were able to interact without the entire restaurant trying to talk over each other. All in all the food was tasty, although my wife didn't care for much of the food. The wine was excellent although very expensive for any additional bottle purchase post dinner. We usually buy a mixed case of wine but with bottles at over $125-$150 each, they weren't worth it in our opinion. They were definitely delicious but that was pricey. We had a great time though and will be back!

Date night with my wife. The table & chairs were very comfortable. We had a hamachi crudo and a beef carpaccio. Each was delicious, with unique creative elements and a variety of flavors and textures. They were also somewhat larger portions than you often encounter for these dishes in San Diego. We also shared the gnocchi, (which again was a generous portion) and three glasses of wine. Service was prompt, friendly, attentive and professional (thank you, Bridgette.) The only negatives were for ambience: it was too dark to read the menu or to fully enjoy presentation of the food, and some feature seemed to be blinking the lights from time to time. Also, the noise level made conversation difficult without shouting. Neither of those would prevent us from returning.

As an Italian/American, these were not your standard Italian staples. Their culinary delights were different on a whole other level. The service matched the meal. I suggest you find out for yourself.
