Date night with my wife. The table & chairs were very comfortable. We had a hamachi crudo and a beef carpaccio. Each was delicious, with unique creative elements and a variety of flavors and textures. They were also somewhat larger portions than you often encounter for these dishes in San Diego. We also shared the gnocchi, (which again was a generous portion) and three glasses of wine. Service was prompt, friendly, attentive and professional (thank you, Bridgette.) The only negatives were for ambience: it was too dark to read the menu or to fully enjoy presentation of the food, and some feature seemed to be blinking the lights from time to time. Also, the noise level made conversation difficult without shouting. Neither of those would prevent us from returning.

As an Italian/American, these were not your standard Italian staples. Their culinary delights were different on a whole other level. The service matched the meal. I suggest you find out for yourself.

Went there for an anniversary! Great experience, everyone was extremely attentive. The food was spectacular

The food was just decent and the service was adequate. Not sure about the menu. It lacked a certain unity and direction. No contorno was a miss in my opinion and the desert selections lacked curbside appeal.

We had an excellent dinner, all the dishes were fantastic. We will definitely be back again. A taste of Italy here in SD!

Always an amazing experience when we eat here! We took our friends and they begged us to take them back!

Food was delicious! And we didn't realize it was restaurant week, but even then from the limited menu it was so good & made freah. The wait was a little longer than expected but it was worth it! Lovely cute spot, it's on the smaller side so fyi for bigger groups. Everyone who worked there was so nice and treated us well. Also loooove the tiramisu! Highlight of the night lol.

We enjoyed the restaurant week menu at Cori. I had the maiale (pork) which was perfectly cooked and delicious. Service was excellent. The appetizers were a highlight, the fococcia bread was amazing. Their wines are pretty expensive but we brought our own and just paid the corking fee instead.

Wonderful dinning experience! The food, wine and service were excellent. We had arancini, these were the best I had in the US. They were small , delicate, delicious ball of rice with truffles. The spaghetti were excellent. I just wished the portions to be larger. Tiramisu was also the best I had. The Italian wines were a great surprise, very flavorful, light, fruity. I asked for bread and they brought focaccia bread just out of the oven. It was a piece of heaven. I definitely recommend this restaurant and can't wait to try other dishes.

Everything was delicious & fresh. Attentive service. We were able to sample the wine before ordering. A little noisy outside as you're right on the sidewalk but easy to have a conversation. One thing that was annoying was quite a few flies buzzing around.

Very nice looking restaurant, perfect for date night. Service was attentive and very good. The Italian cuisine is definitely not average with lots of creativity and refinement. I didn't give a five star because my dish (the special pasta with seafood) was way too salty to be good. I gather that with less salt, it would be super flavorful. We will be back to try other things, and hope that it was just a mishappening.

They made my birthday dinner very special with a card signed by the staff. That is a class act. Plus, the food is always amazing here.

If you are looking for true Italian meal in San Diego, Cori Pastoficio Trattoria will make you feel like you are dining in the tiny streets of Florence. We can't wait to go back!

The service and ambiance was excellent. I had the short rib ravioli and it was outstanding. My spouse had the risotto with prawns which was ok. The taste was good but the tail and legs were still on and made it very messy and a hassle to take off. The eggplant parmigiana appetizer was amazing. The wine recommendation was spot on and went really well with the meal. One of my favorite restaurants still.
