Hi, I took my son on an impromptu trip to San Diego for his fourth birthday. And we had dinner at the Corvette diner, the little high-pressure because he’s a picky eater, and my phone was about to die, and we had to take an Uber. But we had the best time in the very short and hurried dinner that we had. I threw up in the parking lot right after eating here.

Food seemed old and service was slow.

Our booth had a broken TV and one glass of water had black residue.

Edit: Initially a one star but management followed up and were professional about my concerns.

Really cool 50's atmosphere. Corvette part of the atmosphere. Great service. Food good. I had the California Dream which was a great chicken sandwich with guacamole, green chilis; lettuce; tomato and onion. My daughter had the blast sandwich and her boyfriend had the DeeDee Burger with a root beer shake. The blast was bacon lettuce avocado Swiss cheese and turkey.
