Grabbed dinner to go from Cotijas because it was close to our Airbnb. For what we were looking for, this was a decent option. I got chicken enchiladas and my husband got a carnitas burrito. There was karaoke going on inside so I was happy to grab it go after a long day exploring La Jolla.

Convenient spot to drop by for lunch, dinner or take out. Not your typical fast food place because of dine in options and they serve alcohol. Extensive menu and large portions. Can get crowded on weekends.

My wife and I came in and ordered food here last night, we loved the energy they had and how friendly they were.. so we thought and we were truly disappointed and I wouldn’t recommend coming back to this place. My wife even met them halfway and ordered in Spanish, not only to impress but out of respect and admiration for the culture. We get home and come to find out her meal was under portioned and RAW yet my plate was perfect. I didn’t get why they did this but this was disgraceful and discriminating. NEVER AGAIN.

I ordered online through their website but I got there they said they don't accept food orders online. They wanted to charge me again and had to find a way how to get my refund. I waited for 40 mins they ended up giving me my order but missing an item.
Worst place EVER!!!! We had to get up to get our plate of food which they left in the front where you pay. One of the female workers was literally dancing on the table meanwhile men were feeling on her. It was disgusting we didn’t want to touch our food anymore. I regret even taking one bite of it. I don’t recommend at all!! Customer service was not good.

Why did our food never arrive and the woman on the phone was so unhelpful? I guarantee if i set up another account and you didnt know it was me you would deliver and put your discimination aside because you didnt know it was me you were discriminating against.The service is so bad (food is great) For no explained reason Cotixa's will cancel your order and ignore you for the rest of the day. With psycho claims of "you didnt pay for your previous order" which are proved untrue by POSTMATES (friendly folks) no idea what your problem is. Probably 1 person who has an issue for whatever reason.

Horrible customer drive through service! The lady was super mean! I love Mexican food but her service was not very nice at all. She was super grumpy when she asked for the payment and she asked me what my order was and I told her oh shrimp burrito and carne asada chips.. and she said I thought you wanted fries, with a smirk on her face. And then I said oh yes sorry with a smile, and she slammed the window as she took my payment. Customer service needs to be corrected her. The food wasn’t all that great either!

I travel all around San Diego frequenting the many Cotija’s Taco shops. If you want the best deal for Taco Tuesday or their daily four tacos and a beer for $8.99 then you’ve found your spot. You will also be greeted by Melanie with a warm smile and positive attitude! Thanks girl! Your amazing!!

My breakfast burrito was 90 ° French fries and hardly any egg. It included a "sharp" bone for picking your teeth or stabbing your neighbor. Never going back. 8/1/2022 take-out visit.
