I stopped eating there a while ago because it's simply not good. The last meal we had there, we ordered lCarne Asada fries -it was so greasy and fatty that is was a total turn-off. On a previous order, I asked for a simple bean and cheese burrito thinking ya can't mess that. Boy was I wrong! The burrito had obviously been sitting around for a while, that tortilla was dried out and no cheese. Just the other day my grandson ordered from there and got the completely wrong order! I guess some things never change. Do your tummy a favor, don't eat there.

Food is decent and service is not bad. You get a good amount with the price. I just don't appreciate the workers talking bad of customers in spanish when I can perfectly understand them :)

Been getting food here since late 2020 and the food/service has gotten worse every time I've been there. Two of the cashiers there, both have glasses and hats, are the only reason I'm giving the service two stars. Food is only getting two stars as the burritos are the only thing good here. The worst part is the cooks don't use gloves and use their bare hands to handle your food. They also pre-cook all their food so they are essentially just reheating it so don't expect freshly cooked meat. One of the cashiers, very short, large build, and wears their hat improperly, has an attitude and never gives the receipt. They also don't answer the phone when its ringing most of the time. Overall, don't go here and go to La Fuente Mexican Food up the street near the airport. Way better quality and won't disappoint. Also atmosphere at this Cotixan is poor and the place is unsanitary.Parking: Parking is decent, just be careful with crazy drivers

Disappointing experience, was excited to try by the clean interior and covered patio visual. Was turned off by waiting several minutes at the service order window (was the only one waiting to order) 3 employees past the window without acknowledging me. Didn't feel my business was important, appreciated or necessary. FIRST IMPRESSIONS MATTER!
It's average. Gets the job done when your hungry, but nothing to write home about.

Great example of the reliably good neighborhood Mexican restaurants all around San Diego.. My carnitas burrito was very good - lots of pork with guacamole, onion, cilantro garnish - and enormous . I ate half for dinner and split the other half with my wife for lunch the next day. I will put go again if I need it quick meal in the neighborhood.

I eat here about once a week, I wanted to add another 5 stars for my last order. I ordered the #4 Combo that is two beef tacos with rice and beans. Sorry No Photo, I ate the tacos first because they were hot, delicious and juicy! I did add some of the house Red Sauce. The tacos were Crunchy! Lots of juicy meat in each taco. Needed the napkins they put in my bag. New lady working the front, she was friendly and helpful. The tables were clean and plenty available both inside and outside. They always have an action movie going on if you want to watch while eating. It's very casual and welcoming.
