Best damn menudo. I need to try their other food but I always want menudo. Service can be rough and lacking, and it’s always hot inside, but I come here for the food, not the white glove service. Top notch menudo.
Very meh Mexican restaurant for San Diego. Food is okay. Tortillas are too big for the amount of content inside. Beef is just okay. Guacamole is over watered. Rolled tacos are great.
The place has always been nice and clean every time I go and even with rising prices, it's worth it because they give you enough food to feed two people most times. My little trick is to get a taco and split the carne asada on the two tortillas because they double the tortilla and stuff the taco. And for the carne asada fries, I always add pico de Gallo, if you don't have a big appetite, I highly recommend sharing it with at least one other person.
