This place is quite a drive from where I live so it took a while for me to pay a visit despite drooling over the pictures and reviews here on Yelp. One day I was invited to a pot luck. Knowing that the go-to potluck item for this crowd was going to be lumpia, I decided to take a risk and order from here instead. Let me tell you! I got asked about it all night long by adults and kids. The most favored flavors were chicken and beef. We even tried desserts. While it was not as popular as the savory flavors, it was still enjoyed. I now have a new go-to place for potlucks!

Very expensive for what you get. With only a handful of people there on a Sunday afternoon, it took almost 30mins to receive a small order. Food quality was decent but portions too small. $12+ for an Acai bowl that wasn't handmade on the spot but was already frozen was disappointing. Cheese balls were good but the sandwiches had a sliver of meat and cheese and left you wanting. Bagette was fresh but paying almost $75 for 4 people and still hungry means this was more of a snack as opposed to a meal.

The food is delicious but poor service recently sort of ruined it for me. I asked days in advance for 150 of their potato croquettes, and I wanted it ready by a set time for a work event.The day of the event my coworker went to pick them up. They were 30 minutes late, so maybe they might've been cold so one would think, but they hadn't even finished making them! They said they needed 10-15 more minutes, but I'm told the wait from when they got there was closer to 45 minutes.That and the prices went up quite a bit. I understand I might have been eating at "introductory" prices, but it's harder to recommend to all my friends now.Lastly, I submitted feedback of my experience through their website but never heard anything back.

Coxinhas !! a popular food in Brazil consisting of chopped or shredded chicken meat, covered in dough, molded into a shape resembling a teardrop, battered and fried, yummy ! my Wife Loves the Coxinhas and Pão de Queijo (Cheese Bread ) for the first time she was in Brazil !! we love this place at 9450 Scranton Rd San Diego, CA 92121 , Service is great and the Ambiance is clean and easy to Park !

The foods are delicious! Friendly service and reasonably price. I love the golden bites, pretty good size and filling. I've only tasted the cheese and chicken but they other flavored too. Need to try it next time.

The best of PB now closer to home for me which is both great and terrible. Same quality and same options and I couldn't be happier. There's lots of seating and it's spacious, so it's a great place to hang out. Super friendly service, but because everything is made after ordered, it can take some time to be ready.

Great customer service and delicious food. We had empanadas and croquettes. Kids loved the açaí too. Good choice for finger food style lunch on the weekend. We were there on a Saturday and they weren't busy.
Food court here is awesome after the remodel. Coxinhas food is great. Golden bites are fried really nice. Service is fast and friendly. They even gave us some free samples.

Authentic food! They offer popular Brazilian street foods. The service was great and quick. The man helping us was very friendly. The store is located in the Mercado of sorrento valley. The food hall is cute but still pretty empty! Lots of potential

The Sorrento Valley food court has gone through a year long remodel and is very nice. I noticed Coxinha Store has just opened up. They have a variety of Brazilian treats. As I was checking out the menu the nice cashier offered me a sample of a chicken croquette. Looked like a potato ball and had an amazing crispy outer layer inside was white meat chicken. Very tasty. I ordered 2 beef empanadas. Took 8 minutes to make and it came out hot with a crunchy and flaky crust. Loved the texture. Inside was very good quality ground beef. Very tender with no chewy bits. Flavor was a little salty and I didn't like a flavor which I think was from the olive. Excellent empanada as long as you like the olive flavor. Guaraná Antarctica soda is a drink I only see at Brazilian restaurants. Love the unique flavor of Amazon Rainforest fruit. Coxinha Store has a very friendly cashier providing excellent service. I loved the texture of the croquettes and empanadas. Excellent drink selection.
