This place didn’t disappoint. It was worth the 105 price. The waiter was amazing and pleasant to talk to and was very attentive

Food was good but there’s a 18 percent service fee then you have to pay tax on top of that our meal was about 130 dollars but with the fee it came out to 163 dollars. I’m dissapointed

The food was okay but very over priced. The atmosphere and food is not worth the premium price 😕

ABSOLUTELY recommend this place for their seafood boil!!! I’ve never had a seafood boil prior to this so this place set the expectations so sooo high. I got the bucket for one and my friend got the S “N” S. We were both able to finish our boils, although our stomachs were stuffed to the max. The seafood was super fresh and the sauce was 🤌🏼🤌🏼 recommend the full house sauce!! We were skeptical of it at first because we thought the lemon pepper would be too overpowering, but nope, they perfected the recipe. Everything was balanced out so perfectly. Our waiter was amazing, he was the one who recommended the sauce, asked us where we’re from etc. Definitely go here for seafood boil!!!

Food was bland didn't finish it, or want to take any home. Service was ok could of been better. We arrived and we were seated right away. After we ordered we saw they had a Sunday special and asked if it applied to our meal but they said its for the bar only. Would've been nice if they told us about any specials before seating us. Its not like the place was pack either. Would not comeback unless they put some actual seasoning in their food.

Few things are more disappointing than spending over $200 on a truly underwhelming dining experience. From the moment we arrived, the limited food options were a red flag. When I requested a simple side of rice, the server flatly said “no.” I asked again, clarifying, “You have rice, so could you serve it in a small bowl?”—but was met with the same unhelpful attitude. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I know how easy it is to offer a reasonable alternative or at least make an effort. Unfortunately, our server seemed completely uninterested in providing even basic hospitality.
Perhaps that explains the mandatory 18% service fee—because without it, gratuity might be hard to come by. Service was slow, and the food simply wasn’t good. I had high hopes for the beignets to end the meal on a better note, but they were a letdown too: dense, flavorless dough balls served with rock-hard ice cream I had to cut with a knife.
And not a proper knife—plastic. Everything came with plastic utensils and paper plates, even for dessert. For a restaurant with such high prices, this felt more like a poorly planned picnic than a premium experience. I’ve never encountered anything like it before, and I truly hope I never do again.

LOVE this place! We ended up coming to this place twice during our 10 day vacation in San Diego. Yes, they have the 18% service charge, but the wait staff definitely deserves it. we had a great time, the seafood is so fresh, the calamari is so awesome. The second time we went back we caught them at happy hour, and we took full advantage. We are from the Bay Area, but if we lived in San Diego, we would definitely be regulars. The food is awesome, service was excellent, and the price is very reasonable. Our family had a great time. I loved that the restaurant gave us disposable gloves (the environmental part of me hates this), which kept our hands clean and non-fishy smelling. Hubby's gloves broke both times, but he was busy cracking crab claws for the kids. if we are ever in San Diego again we will definitely be back!

My family & I LOVE crab hut so we decided to get two seafood buckets for our night in watching our PPV. The gentleman who helped me with my carry out order was super helpful and even asked if I needed extra stuff I forgot to ask for. Unfortunately the consistency of flavor wasn't the same in both bags. I Unfortunately got the bag that had no flavor at all, the house sauce was good but it lacked salt, it was spicy which we loved but the shrimp, mussels, clams tasted BLAND! The mussels were BIG but weren't cooked all the way, i had to use my crab leg cracker to break the shell. It was a let down because this is NEVER the case until today.
