Stopped in a week or so ago to try something new. The food tasted ok but the portions are incredibly small, especially for the price. Not a place to go if you are hungry, but there is Mexican place down the street to get a big burrito with tons of meet for $10, stopped and ate after. On top of the small portions, I was going to ask for directions at the front desk but was greeted very rudely. I believe by the G.M. of the hotel, short chunky guy. Just stay away from this location for food or to stay.

Went in for Friday lunch. This is located inside the "Monsaraz Hotel". It's modern with a twist of chic feel! They have so many unique signature cocktails! I wanted to try all of them but this time I got the "Smoke Show". It was so good I couldn't stop sipping. The cocktail is made with jalapeño infused mezcal! For lunch I had their crispy soft shell crab sandwich with duck fat garlic fries. How often can u find a place selling that? On top of that, the service was top notch! Chaison was so kind and attentive to explain many of the cocktails and lunch options which helped me choose the perfect drink to pair it with my meal! This place is a must and definitely will be coming back.Vegetarian options: SaladsDietary restrictions: Various options on foodParking: Free 2hr valet with validationKid-friendliness: SpatiousWheelchair accessibility: Its located inside the hotel so yes wheelchair accessibility and also very spacious inside the restaurant.

This Point Loma venue is a *new* location for Crafted Culture, whose original outlet sits in between Sabre Springs and Carmel Mountain Ranch far to the north. It's actually a replacement for the former in-house restaurant here at the Monsaraz hotel - and a worthy one it is. Both the breakfast and all-day menus look like major improvements. I've been able to try some of their breakfast items twice, whether a perfectly prepared wagyu steak and eggs, or an equally enjoyable breakfast burrito. Definitely a step above the usual hotel restaurant fare, even if there's hotel pricing to come with it. Service at the bar was super friendly too.The venue is the inner lobby of the Monsaraz and expands onto a glorious outdoor courtyard that's decked out with a vaguely Portuguese and Mediterranean-inspired theme. A worthy complement to a nice hotel.

10.27.2023: visited this location for my birthday as we waited for an event to start, SofarSounds. Our server was Jaqualine who was also multitasking btw the bar and back of the house. We had the Chicken empanadas and flatbread which both was delicious. My boyfriend ordered a Latte because they ran out of coffee, he said that was OK.

I had the burger and fries and it was delicious. I set at the bar, Ashley the bartender was especially helpful and the Chardonnay was great! Would definitely recommend!
