Really pleasant staff and a great menu selection. I didn't take any photos because I dove right into the meal but it was delightful. Prices about average for San Diego area breakfasts.

Crest Cafe is a popular breakfast spot that serves delicious food all day long. The restaurant's extensive menu offers a variety of tempting choices, including the famous Breakfast Quesadilla with hash browns and the Blueberry Biscuit French Toast. The catfish poboy is also a hit, and the French toast with raspberries and ricotta is a special treat. The service is exceptional, with friendly staff who cater to customers' needs. Visitors will definitely want to come back and try more of the menu's delicious offerings. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and is known for its LGBTQ+ positive community. Recently, guests enjoyed dishes like the Creme Brulee French Toast and the Butter Burger, which is a half pound of ground beef stuffed with garlic, tarragon, basil, and parsley butter, topped with cheddar cheese and garlic mayonnaise. The onion rings served as a side were appreciated despite being light, and the omelette was praised as possibly the best ever. The staff, including attentive servers, makes visitors feel like family, and the restaurant offers vegetarian options, along with all-day breakfast and lunch service.
