Criscito Pizza

We hired Criscito Pizza for our engagement party, which hosted around 65 guests, and it was a fantastic choice! The team provided a wonderful selection of pizzas, each one warm, fresh, and delicious. Our guests loved the variety, and there was something for every taste. They went above and beyond with the setup, providing all the necessary flatware, plates, and a beautiful table arrangement that made everything look organized and inviting. Their service was seamless and added so much to our celebration. Highly recommend them for any event!

Best pizza in town.
Love the atmosphere and how happy everyone is at this establishment.
Busy place but service always great. It was my second time there. And I went for the delicious pizza again, Mauro is an excellent pizza chef and deserves a Michelin star. We will be back soon.

I wanted to take the time to leave a review on this place because I was very displeased with my experience I had here. I took my kids here to get some pizza my daughter said she rather have little Caesars and my son spit his out. Let’s not forget I wasn’t acknowledged when I walked in with my kids but no surprise being in an all white area and I’m a minority. Also I can’t stand people need to change stuff up like the pizza dough was terrible sourdough is not for everything. Wish I would have read the reviews before coming to this place I agree with memos review on here. If your a minority and you have kids this is not the environment for your family.

Worst pizza in my life workers rude floor dirty. Cheep toppings very skimpy! Go to domino’s or Pizza Hut or get a red Robin Pizza, but do not waste your time energy and money here. Worst pizza in the world do better!

Best pizza in the area! Choice of two types of crust. Servers are friendly and the restaurant is clean and bright. Not too big only seats about 20 people at a time

Criscito Pizza is hands down the best pizza and gelato spot in San Diego! From the moment you walk in, you’re transported straight to the Amalfi Coast – the atmosphere is cozy, authentic, and full of charm.

The pizza is absolutely incredible. Criscito has mastered the Neapolitan style crust and uses high-quality ingredients bursting with flavor. I highly recommend the honey, basil, garlic pizza. I’ve never had anything like it and now it's a constant craving!

The pizza, salad, gelato, and service are all 10/10!!!

If you're in SD and you’re craving authentic Italian pizza and gelato, Criscito is a must-visit!

We had Criscito Pizza at our wedding before they had a stand alone restaurant and were so excited to try out their restaurant! 10/10 service and quality - just like on our wedding day :) We will definitely be back! Cannot recommend Criscito enough for their quality pizzas.

This is for Criscito's catering not the restaurant. We had Criscito's cater our daughter's wedding reception and cocktail hour. I was disappointed in the service and presentation of the food. I did not expect there to be 2 young girls helping with the catering. One of them wasn't even a teenager. The lead adult was less than pleasant to deal with. The presentation of the food was to plop it on a table. The food itself was good but not great. We did a taste test with Criscito's before the wedding at their restaurant in Carmel Valley. The pizza served at the wedding was not on par with the great pizza we were served at the restaurant.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The caesar salad was excellent. The dressing was some of the best we’ve tried. The Neapolitan hot honey pepperoni pizza was quite underwhelming. The pizza was brought out within minutes and tasted undercooked. It was soft, slightly bland, and difficult to taste the hot honey. We may try the pizza again at some point but with other solid options in the area, I’m a bit hesitant.

We went here to dine in with our dog (on a leash) and were told that although they do not have a specific/advertised policy of ‘No pets’, they were not comfortable with us bringing our dog inside. We found this very strange and unfriendly, given the fact that they do not clearly state ‘No pets’ anywhere.
They do have a few vegetarian and a vegan option. The pizza was ok (we got the fig & goat cheese and mushroom truffle) I think it would have tasted better had we had it hot and fresh right there.
I wouldn’t recommend it given the unfriendliness of the staff.
