This restaurant is phenomenal - the pizzas here are always delicious, they have friendly folks behind the counter, gelato for after dinner and a great atmosphere to enjoy them all in. So excited they’ve been able to move into a storefront so we can go more often!

I writing a review that is long overdue! Last summer we needed a caterer for our daughter's graduation. We wanted a pizza oven brought onsite and the first place I called was very dismissive.When I reached out to Criscito Pizza I was delighted by the response. Prior to the event we worked with Phil who could not have been more accommodating and reassuring. He really made me feel like an important customer (as opposed to an inconvenience which was how the first place treated my request).At the actual event, there were two people (I think?; it could have been three?) making the pizzas and running them to the backyard where they had set up buffet tables.First off, these young people were so professional and helpful. They set up a beautiful display with pizzas (all labeled) and salad. They made new pizzas as needed and replenished them without being asked. Plus my gluten free guests were SO delighted with the care and attention paid to their needs.All this and I haven't even mentioned the pizza which was FABULOUS! No lie, it was so good. Everyone raved. (Especially about the Honey Garlic pizza; that one was a particular favorite!)Needless to say I highly recommend them.

Had to try this place. We came on Wednesday and loved our Honey Basil Garlic with hot honey and ricotta and the Calabrian. Both Neapolitan style. Loved the chewy texture of the crust and the flavors of both. We couldn't stop thinking about the meal so went back two days later and tried the SD and the Fig & Goat. Loved the Fig &Goat!! So another two days later we went back and had the Mushroom & Truffle and the Lasagna Pizza. Again liked them both. Of the 6 we tried, the Fig & Goat was our favorite! 5 of the 6 were GREAT and "loved it" but we just "liked" the SD carnitas. By far our new #1 pizza place in SD!

We are so fortunate that we have Criscito in our complex!! The staff are so welcoming and the food is delicious. The Calabrian pizza is my favorite and all the salads are great. We love getting gelato for dessert, it's the perfect combo.

Quality establishment with a quirky parking lot. My favorite was the Fig and Goat Cheese Pizza. The fresh out of the oven hot honey taste put it over the top. In a close second was the San Diegan Pizza, which is basically a carnitas taco on a pizza with an excellent lime crema. I hope to come again and try the White PIzza The caesar salad was very very flavorful and large. It seemed more of a 4-person sharing size, or you can just have leftovers in your fridge. Criscito also serves 6 flavors of a local gelato. Yum! The owner and manager were super polite and easy to chat with.
