The sandwiches are good, the bread is why I go but every time I go in the prices vary. Had a free sandwich and somehow 1 sandwich and 2 chips came out to $18 dollars! Will not be back. Usually with 2 sandwiches and 2 chips 24 to 36 dollars(depending on who checks you out) they take advantage of the person who walks in & on the receipt it isn’t even itemized.

I'm mind blown to find out I never wrote a review for my favorite sandwich shop of all times! I originally found out about C's Ice Cream and Deli from my friend's dad back in 1999 and instantly fell in love with the small sandwich shop! Honestly, it was really the root beer selection that drew me in since Sasparilla/ Root Beer is my favorite beverage of all times! Out of 150 variants of root beer, cream soda, ginger ale, and everything else in between, 80% of my first time tries has come from C's. My favorite root beer is Sparky's (be very careful, this root beer has such a bite, you won't taste anything afterwards)...sounds to strong and want something smooth and creamy then try Virgil's! Don't like root beer, no problem...I also love their sandwiches. My top 3 Sandwiches are: Roast Beef Artichoke, Chicken Cordon Bleu and Pepperoni Roaster! But honestly, you just gotta make it down the list of all sandwiches. I suggest getting everything included, tomato, lettuce, oil and & vinegar with a pickle spear on the side. C's Deli is family owned and ran by a husband and wife team (Todd & Anastasia) and throughout the many years their kids helped in the shop as well and I had the pleasure to watch them all grow up to be fine adults! C's is a small shop tucked in a very small strip mall on the end of Mira Mesa Blvd. They have been there since 1989 and have made it through numerous ups and down (stock market crashes and even a pandemic) I've been going to C's Deli since my senior year in high school (1999) and sometimes daily during my college days (1999-2002) at Miramar College. I love how they greet their regulars (like myself) by name and I truly have grown to consider Todd, Anastasia and the kids.... FAMILY! My only con is since my wife and I live in fallbrook, I don't get the opportunity to go to the deli as often as I would like! But since my parents both still live in Mira Mesa, it makes for a great excuse to visit C's Deli! Today's order: .Roast Beef Artichoke (Everything included) .Chicken Muffaletta (Everything included) .Maui Onion Chips and Crack Pepper Sea Salt Chips .Oak Creek Blonde Barrel Aged Root Beer If you go in, please say hello to Todd and Anastasia and maybe try one of my favorites!

It's a nondescript deli in a sort of odd location that you can't really see from the street; this is how you know it's gonna be good. C's is a no frills, straight up, consistent deli. The menu is large and agile - they'll customize however you want. Ingredients are fresh, toppings are plentiful and options are limitless. One of my fav aspects is that any sandwich can be made into a wrap. My personal go-to is the roast beef and artichoke but really, you can't go wrong. Service is friendly and fast, prices are reasonable and quality is second to none.

My favorite sandwich in town! Todd and his wife are always super friendly and the sandwiches taste homemade, fresh and delicious! My favorites are the Chicken caesar sandwich, Blue Ox and the Chicken Club, but they're all good. Great cookies, ice cream, and a big chip and root beer selection as well. Can't go wrong here, but don't tell too many people, it's a hidden gem!

This place is a hidden gem in my opinion. I found it through a friend of mine: She spoke highly about this joint, so I definitely had to try it. It is family owned, so you know the food is going to be really good. And the prices are amazingly affordable! I went here yesterday 15 minutes before they were about to close. I was greeted by a really nice lady who took my order and made my sandwiches with love. Here is a list of what I ordered and here are the ratings my family gave the sandwiches: The Californian 5/5 The C's Club on Rye Bread 4.9/5 Chicken Cordon Blue 5/5 The Chicken Club 6/5 (This made me laugh!) Overall, I will be back because I need to try the rest of their sandwiches they have on their menu!

Absolutely killer sandwiches! Bet deli in Mira Mesa and Scripps Ranch. The "Blue Ox" is undoubtedly one of the best sandwiches I've tried. Our family visits here regularly. Large portions with a wide selection of Root Beer, Ice Cream and Milk Shakes.
