Small place, excellent albondigas. Made to feel like I was part of the family. Eat at the bar and you can chat with the team

I really think this place has sooo much potential that it's not quite living up to yet. It may just have been an off night but it was very sleepy (like dead quiet) Thursday at 7pm and we were the only ones in there. Seems like they need to jazz things up; get some happy hours and specials going to draw a better crowd to the bar, or bring back the music. Or just crear more music ambiance some how. The food was pretty good. We had a big green salad which was simple but fresh and the vegetable empeñadas which were good but pretty heavy. I'm a s***** for a vibe and they just didn't quite have the atmosphere I was looking for and expecting the night we dined, but a good place if they get some energy in there I'm sure!

Intimate space, fun food, some artist jewelry and scarves to look at. Chef was friendly and welcoming. Street parking is limited.

De Nada Kitchen is a gem in University Heights offering delicious food and wine. We did the chef's tasting menu, a specialty offering and it was amazing. Several courses of interesting small bites featuring Mexican flavors and a house made sangria. Absolutely divine dinner. The place is cozy without being crowded and is adorably decorated with a musical theme and guitars hung around the space. It is a delightful spot for a wonderful dinner.

Absolutely love this little hidden gem! Tiny little spot, but the food and the wine are delicious. I love the unique menu. Omg the empanadas. My mouth is watering thinking about them! Great little date spot.

The food here is amazing. The owner and chef is cordial and welcoming. There were 6 of us and we tasted eachothers dishes. They were all super delicious. I will be back

Empanadas have strange combinations but taste so, so good, sauces are great, and the Mole pizza is amazing. The staff is super friendly and the owner/chef is a great guy. Love this place

Great atmosphere and delicious wine selection. We had the chicken and veggie empanadas and they were great! The chimichurri shrimp skewers were by far the best! Highly recommend!

We were first timers and came for the advertised happy hour ($5 tapas and wine). We were disappointed to find out that wasn't available as advertised. However, the food that we did have was delicious. We had the ceviche and pork sopes

Horrible service. Tasteless food that did not taste fresh and had zero flavor. How this place is busy is beyond me The service was so bad is was almost comical. But somehow the food was even worse

Really small menu serving Mexican\Spanish fusion tapas. Intimate dining area. Great happy hour specials. Food is very good. Sangria is on point.

My boyfriend and i went to San Diego for his birthday this week and went to several different places to eat while we were there. This was the only restaurant we ate at that we felt truly welcomed in. The server and chef were extremely kind and attentive and the food was SOOO good we ate everything. Thank you so much!
