Really nice restaurant w a great view especially at Sunset.. Food was very good , although I thought the Cesar salad needed more dressing & Parmesan cheese ! And server should always offer to pepper it for you (Not just hand one a pepper shaker when one asks for pepper!) But overall a very nice place to enjoy some good food w a great view. Just two negatives: the bartender was unfriendly & unprofessional. We came early & he ignored our request for a couple drinks & never followed up (after telling us to “Wait!) & secondly the food service was extremely slow. The restaurant wasn't busy (at all!) and it took 45 minutes from order to food w No bread or any request to maybe get an appetizer. By the time we received the food (which was good) we were all exhausted! But our server was excellent! Very nice!

Laila was an amazing waitress. Views were breathtaking. Food was delicious. Enjoyable visit.

Beautiful panoramic view if the ocean in La Jolla. Service from Eddie was great. We were the there for brunch on a a weekday. The food was delicious but the selections are minimal, and there was no bartender so drinks were very limited.

Thanksgiving is a food holiday so we saved up our calories for a hearty meal. We received a sampling of pumpkin soup whose portion was so thin that each spoon exposed the bottom of the bowl. The entrees were both flavorful but the red snapper portion has a measly piece of kale under the fish. We laughed at the minuscule slice of pumpkin pie presented as dessert and shamed the waiter who offered us another piece. It was a very disappointing meal experience for a major food holiday. I don't recommend anyone book a holiday meal at Sea and Sky.

Lovely view, good food, music not too loud for conversation. Very attentive waitstaff. Too pricey for a regular lunch. Best for special occasion or for taking out-of-town guest for the fabulous ocean views.

Our server seemed very unexperienced by never explaining anything on the menu and only asked if we were ready to order. We had to ask all the questions. We asked for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, which there were two options, however the server didn't ask which one and continued to just bring an already poured glass to the table. Later to find out they only had the one option anyways. The server never asked how we were enjoying the food or drinks and seemed very unknowledgeable about the menu. The yellowtail appetizer was missing ingredients from what the menu stated as well. I can't say the food saved the dinner service either. Overall, there was no “wow” factor other than the hostess and her welcoming greeting and goodbye as we left. Even our server didn't say goodnight as we walked by. To top it off we did have to pay for parking even though we didn't valet. We will most likely not be coming back due to our very subpar service. I understand that everyone can't be on point on every given day but it was more than just that.

We returned to one of our favorite restaurants where we would have truly delicious breakfasts. The restaurant went through a renovation (that took 10 months) and a name change in 2024. Unfortunately, it's not even close to what it used to be. Today's experience was a disaster: - we waited for 18min for the server to come to our table after being seated (and it's only because we asked a busboy for assistance), - the waitress was rushing us even though all the guests from all other tables but our and one more had left, - we ordered apple pancakes and a French toast (apples were supposed to be inside the pancakes but arrived on top of the three gigantic undercooked thin pancakes; the French toast was nothing even close to what it used to be), - the new interior was definitely downgraded to a diner loom with tiny booths for two where both guests face the window, The only thing you're getting in Sea & Sky is the view which, goes without saying, hasn't changed. And if you can track the former Chef, do it! The waitress confirmed that she moved to a restaurant downtown. She is a true Artist and her dishes (even a simple yogurt parfait) were to die for!

This spot on the 11th floor has such a mood with live music, soft lighting, and views that make you want to linger. Dinner was beautifully presented (though a little pricey), but the happy hour is where it shines. The green juice in the morning was pure joy. 💚 Everything just feels thoughtful and pretty ...very La Jolla.

Gorgeous view and food was exceptionally delicious. I was attending a performance at the Conrad and chose this place really just because it was 8 minutes away. The hotel and restaurant are very unassuming. Driving up I was like whoa $42 parking (they validate). Very low key a hidden hem the crabcake was huge and delicious and tasted so fresh and buttery. Our server Dennis was great not pushover we're celebrating a birthday they greeted us with complementary rose for to sip and enjoy the sunset and dressed up our dessert with a candle. Ordered crab cake, half chicken, salmon and cheesecake all 10 out of 10!

I ordered a salad with dressing on the side. This always means that I don't want the dressing on the salad. I want it on the side. The dressing came mixed with the salad and that has never happened to me before. So the salad was remade with no dressing. The huevos con chorizp were just so so. The waiter was very nice and very good. But we had a voucher we paid $50 for a $100 worth of food. We had only ordered $89 worth. We got the bill and we were charged for a glass of wine that we didn't order. The waiter said that his boss had told him to do that. So we said if we were paying for it that we wanted it. We then noticed that we were also charged for a beer we didn't order. The waiter said it was his boss who told him to do that. So we asked him to bring the beer. Normally we are told we have a balance and what else would we like to order. We should have asked for the manager but it was my birthday and I didn't want to make a scene.

Had dinner and drinks here with a friend early one evening. The venue has an amazing view and is the right size to make you feel comfortable. Food was mediocre, we ordered a.cesear salad with steak and a burger. Next time I would probably just go for drinks only. I have scored service low because when it came time to pay I was asked to give my credit card pin to the individual so they could punch it into the machine which was shocking.
