I used to come here all the time then today I came and ordered the same exact thing I always order, but it didn't taste the same. It was disgusting. I politely informed the lady at the front and she looked at me like I was stupid and told me what I ordered and said that's what she gave me. I said okay well can you remake it or give me my money back and she decided to give me my money back with the ugliest face and attitude. I actually couldn't believe it. If you miserable get a new job she must don't wanna make smoothies all day

I like the selection of food here. But there was no sense of urgency when people walk in or let a lone a greeting. Please adapt to your customers .. I may live in Southbay, and look mexican but just a word of advice, not everyone who fits the description likes to carry a conversation in Spanish. If I'm speaking in English please follow my preference instead of giving me an attitude.
Wild Thoughts
If you are not planning to open on a Holiday, you should add that update on Google maps/Doordash, etc. We live in a Era were everything is managed thru technology/internet. If you want to survive to big chains of food/restaurants , you need to keep up by updating Menu, Schedule, Services, or any detail. Disappointed make an order by Doordash and ending that you guys didn't update if we're open or not.

I was never a fan of tortas, but after eating a turkey torta, I’m officially going to say that I liked the one I had couple days ago at D-K-Che! I’m in and plan to make tortas as a part of my sandwich selection at restaurants/shops in future.
Just to slow things down though, I want to do baby steps and actually stick to D-K-Che Fruteria’s torta. Not so sure what it was for me, but my hunch, it may have been the bread and its size. The bread size was not the average that of a torta sandwich, softness on inside, little crunch on the outside and all the fixings that came with it. I even liked the non hot/spicey jalepenos. The torta could have been made with a little more turkey and romaine lettuce. Other than this, it was perfect torta and delicious. And, it did not fall apart, like most breads do.
So far D-K-Che is has the best tasting torta in town.
My daughter had been going to this place since Covid days. She usually purchases acai, fruit bowls, and fruit drinks. She is a fan of D-K-Che. On the other hand, my partner loves the tortas, chamango and other fruit drinks. Also a fan but may sometimes venture off to other places in imperial beach to see what’s out there in terms of price and taste.
Side note. We had tried the carne asada torta. Let’s just say, carne asada is made for tacos and not tortas. Will not buy again.
We all get inflation, but I sure hope D-K-Che does not inflate their prices again. Stay humble.

They had a single price for a coffee which on the menu was 2.95, didn’t specify if it was hot or cold. So the girl who took my order asked me if I wanted hot or cold, and also asked me if I want cafe de la olla or regular. I told her hot and regular, simple. So she charged me 5.95 for an instant coffee. I told her about the mistake and she had a little attitude saying that’s what it is. Just be aware if you buy something from here is not what the menu shows.
I love leg cake but this time they went overboard with the tomato 🍅.! They gave me the part that you usually throw away when you cut the tomato, and it tasted like a rotten tomato. I don't think I will shop there again.

Sorry, this could be 5 stars but the only issue I have with this place is with their carrot juice, I feel like they put water in their juices, making it taste not good, if I want to get carrot juice, I like to go to Frutas.

Was a customer for many years, the owner was always very pleasnt and consistently offered great customer service. Now the girl working the front is extremely rude with absolute horrible customer service skills. If you like spending your money were your treated like dirt as a paying patron then enjoy?✌?provecho?
