The food I got was so different from my expectation/order details I thought there was a mistake. This was not a good experience and the food was not good. It was just some simple semi-fresh greens with salty gyro meat and ranch dressing... Supposed to include at least hummus and cucumbers.

Food was 3Service was good 4Employees 5Come on guys food should be better. Only reason i give 3 for the food is sides. Doner itself is 1-2Service was okay actually i mean it is little unclear. You order in one store and comes in the wnother. There should be clear instructions.I like the employees. They were friendly since im new in the town. I asked to Mia for the recommendation she gave me a cool couple spots so thanks for that.

Staff was great. Got the bowl, which is listed online as coming with hummus, but there was none. There was barely any chicken either which, at this price isn't acceptable.Aside from that, the food was very fresh and the tatziko and spicy green sauce was delicious.

Absolutely delicious food and quick service. I will be stopping by every time I'm in Pacific Beach!

Have eaten here twice and both times have been amazing! Easily the best wraps I’ve had in pb and I live here! Have done the carved beef and marinated beef and both were quite tasty (even though I do prefer the carved). It is an unconventional style of restaurants in this complex but this almost adds to the charm. You just need to find someone who works in one of the restaurants and they’ll help you out.

This is an amazing addition to Mission + Garnet! There are a couple of other places around that you can get similar food, but this place is cheaper and so much better. I'm sure you'll see reviews about their service, but as a local I can tell you that you just need to walk around to any of the lovely humans in the storefronts and they can help you out. They won't always be at the restaurant you expect, but they all work together seamlessly!I come here very often for a reason. 10/10 recommend!

Doner Doner is another one of the newer vendors at the Mission + Garnet Food Hall. It replaced Harvey Carvers which was a specialty sandwich shop that was part of the original lineup. You could order using a tablet that was at any of the vendor stalls or by scanning a QR code at the service counter. The menu was a build-your-own plate, bowl, wrap, or kebab krunchwrap. Several appetizers were also offered a la carte like the Greek Nachos and Fried Cauliflower. The protein choices were carved beef/lamb, falafel, grilled marinated chicken, grilled marinated steak, or grilled shrimp. The last two options cost an additional $1 each. Two sauces came free with an order. If you wanted more from the list of four varieties, they cost $0.50 apiece. Some toppings were included, however many cost either $1 or $2 extra (e.g. za'atar chips, hummus). I chose a bowl with carved beef/lamb and garlic white and tzatziki as sauces on the side. The other ingredients were turmeric brown rice, Mediterranean farro salad, hummus, greens, pickled red onions, crispy turmeric chickpeas, and red wine oregano vinaigrette. While the list sounded nice, what I received didn't have all of the components like the lack of chickpeas. The slices of meat were dry which was a disappointment. Since my visit, the prices have increased by another 10 percent. I gave a generous three star rating for my experience at Doner Doner Kebab Kitchen.

I stopped by for lunch on a weekday and ordered from the kiosk since no employees were out front. After about 5 minutes someone came and asked if I needed help and I told them I ordered. Then another 10 min later, a different employee did the same and I asked them to check on my order since it had been 15 minutes- no other customers were waiting and no one else had ordered. She went in the back and then said it would be two more minutes. The food did finally come out. The chips were well seasoned and the hummus was pretty standard. The chicken in the krunchwrap was very tasty and the garlic sauce was really good- ended up eating the chips with that. It was a lot of food. Wish the service was better here.

After a positive experience at the opening of this restaurant, I decided to go back tonight. Big mistake! Yellow flag was the unstaffed counter so I ordered at the terminal and only saw someone after 15 minutes. Order for a wrap and bowl took 40+ minutes. During the wait, I caught a glimpse of the kitchen through a small window and it looked like a poorly run, disorderly kitchen - a red flag. I finally got in touch with the lady at the connected taco place and had asked her to cancel my order when it finally came out. Get home to find some pieces of burnt and dry chicken thrown on some rice. Rice and chicken were very salty, almost inedible. Looks like a half wrap more than a full wrap. You can always tell when a restaurant is run with some level of pride, care, and heart and clearly here there's none of that.

Big Döner fan here but I wont comment on the quality. I’d just like to leave some feedback for the owners.I ordered from the QR code outside since nobody was at the register. Receipt said food will be ready at 11:18 “If ordering from multiple restaurants at Mission + Garnet Food Hall, please PICKUP at SPITFIRE TACOS”. So since we just ordered from Döner spot we sat at a table outside then waited inside in the shade after 30 min had gone by. We asked the Spitfire place if the food would come out there, but they said shrugged and it should come out at the Döner place if you ordered there. Then, someone came to check on us in the Döner spot at 45 min of waiting, asked us if we had questions to which we replied we are just waiting on food, he said cool… then at the hour mark we asked someone working at early bird to go to the kitchen to check on our order and said it’s been ready and he’s been calling our name, then pulled our food out of a box in the corner… this was the restaurant next door.Even if he had actually called our name once or twice even, we should have heard it from the table or from inside the Döner place (where we order from). If the staff doesn’t care enough to make effective announcements, then maybe you guys should have text notifications. It was a weird experience, weird encounters with staff and weird enough to lead me to write a long review on a Saturday.

Food overall was good, tasty meat, fresh lettuce and onions, sauce was awesome.Slight critique was the dryness of the shawarma. I am in no way an expert on the subject, but the bites of meat and veggies felt like they needed some sauce inside the shawarma. If you get a lot of sauce on the side, it will make it much better. Garlic white and tzatziki were great.Didn’t try anything else, but excited to. Good servings, but not sure I would get shawarma again if they remain the same with the listed price. Crunchwrap looks like next try.Best of luck to this place! Definitely a good option.
