Food is excellent. Very good portions to share, tho the food is a little bit dry, but it’s good.
Service is fine, but it could be better.

Halal Kababs and mediterranean food.
We ordered-
The Darbaand special ( I think) -
It had beef kabob, ground sirloin kabob, chicken kabob, and came with rice and grilled veggies. The platter can be easily shared among 2/3 people.9/10
Hummus - 7/10, it comes with bread. They should give more bread.
Overall, the food was fresh, delicious, and flavorful. Do visit if you can.
The bathrooms were clean, but i wish they had kept a bidet as they are a halal restaurant.
Dietary restrictions: Halal food available.
Parking: There is a paid parking lot just 2 mins (walking) from where the restaurant is.

We had a group of 13 and asked to sit upstairs. Every single plate was charged 10 extra to sit upstairs but we werent told this, it cost us 130 extra to sit upstairs and we werent even brought water for 45 minutes. It was bizarre. The place was mostly empty as well. Save your money.

If you are looking for the real deal when it comes to Persian food I would not even think twice of coming to Darband Persian Grill. You could not ask for a nice staff from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave.
The food portions are excellent. You have a great menu from vegetarian to meat lovers. The salmon kabob is the best I ever had. As I come here several times a week. The food is always solid.

Large portions of very well presented delicious Persian dishes. Most dishes come with sides and Bandar salad was an absolute beauty.

Restaurantji Recommends
We ordered gheymeh and ghormeh sabzi and lamb shank. None of them felt very fresh. Particularly gheymeh tasted it was old. This darband is not the same as previous darband location. The location is not made for a restaurant at all.

This place does not represent Persian food, or Persian Culture whatsoever! Wow this place sucks just like their first location!!! It has the strangest clientele… NO SERVICE… I can’t believe they moved into little Italy which is such a nice neighborhood. This place is the opposite of class. I genuinely don’t think the owner has any taste or knows how to operate a proper restaurant. As a Persian myself, I was ashamed that this place is repressing Persian food and culture in little Italy. The food is meh… not good. And they have no clue about customer service. Like just hire some proper waiters dude… tell them to wear something nice. And what is up with your decor… ? omg… please if you are reading this and still decide to go, just know Persian culture is much fancier than this.
