We did pick up and I won’t lie the prices are great and the food is legit. The extra spicy was a little bit too much and this is coming from a spice expert. Spicy was more than enough and the chicken was great! Will be back again !

First time here the service was GREAT she was funny advised me to try the honey for an experience! She was right I loved it on the no spice ones. I ordered a mild tender it was too spicy next time just no spice with honey.

It’s a few times me and my husband ate on this location and the one in Pacific Beach and also the location in Kearny Mesa. The only thing they need to back a little bit on is the salt on the fries. They were really salty but other than that, we enjoyed it really good. We keep on going back cause it’s so good.

I love this place! I have been to all the San Diego locations and one northern location. The food is very consistent and great every time.

Chicken tenders were soggy we asked if they can make it more crispy and they gave it to us greasy and sliders were not spicy at all

Dave’s is delicious. -2 for an hour wait (only time I’ve experienced this at a Dave’s). They’ve only been open a week though, and having this long of a line is a good sign. Just would’ve hoped they had enough staff to keep up.

Edit: now that they’ve been open for a while, they’ve gotten much more consistent on service time.

It was my first time trying Dave’s Hot Chicken, and I was definitely surprised with how good the chicken was! I did wait a long time for my food, but I would definitely try it again if I’m ever in the area
