Just want to say, I rode by on my bicycle ride for the day, and seen this place...I decided to place an order for a Half Cheese Half Pepperoni pizza and an order of spaghetti which came with a salad....and, I absolutely LOVED it all! The pizza had that herb-taste I'm always looking for in pizza, the crust wasn't too thin but not too thick, the sauce was amazing...my family loved it! So glad I found this place! Nearby my home too! Yum!

Ordered pizza for pick up from De Luca's and had a wonderful experience. First, when I arrived to pick up my pizzas and they weren't finished, Anthony poured me a glass of red without asking (or charging) and we had the best conversation about the restaurant, the neighborhood, etc. It was just delightful. Second, the pizzas (margarita and meat lovers) were delicious. We plan to use them to cater our upcoming housewarming party. Don't miss out on this great spot!

De Luca‘s is a great little locally owned neighborhood spot! It’s no-frills but the food is piping hot, and the service is excellent. I ordered through DoorDash which had incorrect info as to what was included in the meal. The owner and staff immediately fixed the order and even gave me extra too. They’re super friendly and a mom n’ pop I will continue to support!

A little confusing, we ordered from "La Trattoria" on Uber Eats and ended up at De Luca's which was the correct restaurant from which to pick up the food! The pizza was good and was very clearly freshly made, the sausage side was also tasty although not quite like the picture - it was actually sausage covered in sauce and cheese and even better than expected :) The area is a little tricky for parking as it's all street parking, but it's not terrible. It's right next to thorn brewing as well if you're interested in taking food over to the brewery to enjoy while playing trivia. The restaurant is a little tiny but cozy and quaint. Overall, we will probably be back either just for the pizza or for the combination with trivia!

We placed an order for pick up for some calzones. When we got there, the guy was on his phone, and was kind of rude when he asked us what we were there for. We told him we were there to pick up calzones and he gave us someone else's to go order, and we knew it was the wrong one because he handed us pasta, even though we specifically said 2 calzones. So, the service wasn't the best. I hope it's better when people dine in. As for the taste, we'll, it wasn't anything memorable. It was decent, but it didn't particularly leave me wanting more.

3.5 average stars is a disgrace. I have been coming here to de Luca's with my family for as long as I can remember, and is hands down among my top 3 in Italian food restaurants in San Diego. Can't go wrong with a simple pepperoni pizza. Nostalgic taste that will create memories for years to come. 10 stars if I could.

We get the chicken parm, the eggplant park and the gnocchi for take out on a reg. Their food is fast and that sauce - chefs kiss. Try their food, it's worth it.
