Just order 2 meals and they forgot to add Rice and Raita. I called they said I am sorry we were too busy. Very upset after spending $40.90 and not have what to eat this food with. Lost a customer for sure.

I've probably been here 15 times over the years, and every single time the food is excellent. This is the best Indian food in San Diego that I've ever had. It's a hole in the wall not a super nice environment necessarily but if you want great Indian food it's a winner!

Excellent place for take out. Delicious North Indian food. Ambience could be better- but food is pretty good! Have ordered take-out several times. Also recommend them for catering- excellent delivery and handling.

Great Indian place that serves amazing food options with authentic taste. Very polite and friendly. Portion size is very good. The combo options are wonderful and the parathas are just too good. Reminds Delhi!

Overall a very good Indian restaurant. Very affordable with good quality and variety in food. The place itself is very small, doesn’t fit a lot of people. Curries were really great.

Never posted a “food” review, but this place deserves more hype. Gotta give them their “flowers”. Hands down THE BEST VEGGIE KORMA and NAAN on the planet! Lived in CMR over a decade ago when I first enjoyed their food… moved to Temecula, Rosarito, and Ramoa, and I’ll still drive ALL THE WAY back here for their food. It’s delicious like the best meal your mom ever made. I think it’s the matriarch of the family recipe’s.

We tried Delhis Kitchen during our visit to San Diego. We didn’t get to try most of the items, but we did have a chance to eat the samosas and some vegetarian curries. They were good—we liked the samosas. We liked them so much that we went back to get them again, but the second time they weren’t as great. They were oily, and the filling had more potatoes than usual. I’ll still give it another try the next time I visit
There is place sit and dine in but it’s more of a Togo place. So definitely don’t expect ambiance

I recently tried the Chicken Tikka Masala combo from Delhi Kitchen, and I was truly impressed. For just $12.99, I got a full plate with chicken tikka masala, plain basmati rice, flavorful vegetable rice, comforting lentils, and a fresh salad.
The chicken tikka masala was perfectly cooked with tender chicken pieces in a creamy, rich, and mildly spiced sauce. The lentils were warm and homely, reminding me of traditional Indian dal. Both types of rice were fragrant and well-prepared, and the fresh salad added a nice crunch and balance to the meal.
Finding such authentic flavors and generous portions at this price is rare in San Diego. Delhi Kitchen has definitely set a new standard for quality and value. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Indian food without spending too much.

As someone who recently moved to San Diego and loves tandoori chicken, I have tried almost every Indian restaurant in the city in search of authentic, flavorful tandoori. Finally, I discovered Delhi Kitchen on Carmel Mountain Road, and I can confidently say this is the best tandoori chicken I’ve had here.
The chicken was perfectly marinated with a beautiful balance of spices, juicy inside, and roasted to perfection with that traditional smoky flavor. The first bite instantly made my day – it was tender, flavorful, and reminded me of authentic North Indian tandoori I grew up eating. The garnish of fresh onions and cilantro added a refreshing crunch to each bite.
I am so glad I found this hidden gem. If you are in San Diego and craving authentic, juicy, and flavorful tandoori chicken, Delhi Kitchen is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Ordered Paneer Tikka Masala from Delhi Kitchen. The paneer was completely raw and not cooked at all. Ended up with stomach pain after eating it. Very disappointed with the quality.
