We had a unicorn theme party for my daughter's first birthday and not only did the cake come out fabulous it tasted AMAAAAZING! thank you so much for such a top notch cake and design! I'm allergic to eggs and my mom has a severe tree nut allergy, but she was able to work with those restrictions and make an absolute masterpiece! We had one phone call, a few emails, and she created a delicious cake that everyone wanted second and third servings of. The cake was delivered and set up on time, with no hassle. The warnings from previous reviews regarding poor communication is true... I'm all about supporting locally owned businesses & really wanted to try working with this baker. I initially contacted her via email but never received a response. I then decided to reach out to her via Facebook messenger & finally got on & off responses. I once saw that she had read my messages but never replied so I had to send another message before getting a response. After going back & forth & finally letting her know that I'd like to place an order, again, no response! Poor communication is a big no no when it comes to running a business. I get it, things happen & you may not be able to respond right away but at least let people know that you'll get back to them when you have time. If you can't communicate properly then you may need to revise your business model.
I highly recommend Delicious Treats for specialty cakes or cupcakes! This cake was the hit of the party and the centerpiece on the table. It was heartbreaking to cut into suck a beautiful cake but it sure tasted great! Keep in mind you are dealing with a specialty baker who is creating a custom cake for your event. She will offer suggestions and you can expect to communicate back and forth with the baker in order to get what you are looking for. I live in New England and was planning a small 6 person baby shower for my daughter in at a family home in Scripps Ranch., California.We could not believe how lucky I got that they were located 1 mile from where the shower was. This cake was amazing! The only problem I had was that I was not in town long enough to have more cake the next day! It was delicious and even more beautiful in person. I added a cake topper that I purchased on Etsy and it was perfect! If you are ordering a cake for a special occasion do your research and send her pics from pintrist of your ideas and she will bring your ideas to life! The fondant was tasty and the cake was truly fresh and delicious!

I needed a cake to celebrate someone's birthday who is both lactose intolerant and doesn't eat eggs. Additionally, I also needed a customized birthday greeting to be written on the icing. Dhanashree suggested to go with the pineapple flavor and pineapple filling. The cake was ready on the said date and time - and it was super delicious! The pineapple flavor and the sweetness balance was perfect - and it was hard to believe that the cake was made with Soy milk and without eggs!! Thanks a lot Delicious Treats for accommodating our special request and making the day extra special for the birthday person!
