I am a fan of properly seasoning food, and a big part of proper seasoning is the use of salt. That being said, this Denny’s needs to seriously back off on the salt. My hash browns were so salty as to be unenjoyable, and my Grand Slamwich was just as salty.
The coffee had a slightly bitter flavor that even half and half could not soften.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is annoying with all the kids crane game machines beckoning for attention.
Our server did a good job and was attentive throughout our meal.
We spent $90 with tax and a 20% tip for our family of 4. For that amount, we could have gone to Breakfast Republic of Broken Yolk and had a far better meal and experience. We will not return to this Denny’s.

Love this place. Excellent place to eat, study (if you have noise cancelling headphones), and have a group meeting. Wifi is broken, though, and has been for months (as of 6-24-25), so very little internet-related work can be done here. I guess that's not a big deal if you're using a hotspot or data, only other complaint is that it can get too cold sometimes.

😀We were visiting from out of town. We have eaten at many Denny's locations. 📲If you like to eat at Denny's and you have room on your phone, I highly recommend that you download their app and register for their deals and coupons. You will save money. 💰 🍽️It was a Saturday evening at about 7pm. There was plenty of parking and the exterior of the restaurant was clean and well maintained with lots of flowers.🌹🪻 We were greeted and seated as we walked in and our server was quick to acknowledge us at the table. 😃Our food came out of the kitchen really fast, as well. Everything was cooked exactly how we wanted it. 🥩🍳One of us had the steak and eggs and the other had the appetizer combo plate and a side salad.🍟🥗 😋Everything tasted delicious and the employees were all very friendly. 😊👍

I’m sorry. Food was very salty . Waiter did not refill my coffee. It’s apparent that we got a different cook. It’s hit and miss . We are locals. So please don’t add any salt when preparing the food, before it hit the tables .

Ryan, from the Dennys on Miramar Rd, San Diego. It was a great dining experience because of Ryan’s professionalism and he had a wonderful smile. He was enthusiastic.
Went there for a midday breakfast. Looking for ways to customize what we were getting in the mail and the waitress ended up making choices from different menus items and making it quite a bit more expensive for us in the in the end.. this was disappointing. It wasn't an affordable breakfast at all it was quite expensive and I was quite disappointed they didn't have sourdough bread they don't offer that that's always what I get for breakfast and every other breakfast diner I've gone to has that option or offering.
