Fantastic customer service!
This is a really cute shop because it has a charming seating area with view upstairs (from the outside).
You order from the window for take out only. There are small tables on the side of the building at ground level.
These are not my favorite donuts. They seemed a little heavy and undercooked. The donut is quite chewy for my taste. The maple bacon donut, $4.75, oddly tasted like coffee.
The negative is there are no napkins at the register/ window. And there are no napkins upstairs. Who can eat a donuts without napkins?
It's really comfortable at the tables upstairs with the pillows.

Wish I could give 10 stars! Taylor, Hannah, Lia, and Emily were amazing! Incredible service every time. I love starting my mornings here. Hands down, best donuts and service in town 🍩

I really liked these donuts. I was super happy with the variety, my one complaint is that they don’t have anything that was super unique or that blew me away. We are donut connoisseurs so our standards are high, otherwise I would have likely have given them 5 stars.

Little Italy GEM! 💕By far the best and eccentric donut flavors in SD! Variety changes frequently and they always have fun flavors like : Tres leches Oreo, blueberry, etc. Love their donuts are super soft, pillowy dough and not too sweet! Always a favorite and cannot find a place that comes close after all these years. Not pictured, the Tres Leches Oreo because it was insatiably delicious!!! 👏🏽🍩😍

Stumbled on this place completely by accident while wandering around waiting for our dinner table. I came looking for bronze… and found gold. 🍩
My boyfriend is basically a donut sommelier (yes, that’s a thing in our house), so obviously we had to try half a dozen. They change flavors daily, which feels like both a blessing and a cruel joke because the guava cream I had will live rent-free in my mind forever.
The donuts? Soft, fluffy, and dangerously addictive. The kind of treat you “just have a bite of” and then suddenly you’re 13 donuts in.
I’m actually mad I don’t live in California, because if I did, I’d be stopping by here for coffee and donuts like it was a part time job.
Moral of the story: go in “just to look” and leave with a box.

Coffee was great and the doughnuts were very, very good. Ordered one of each and a dozen doughnut holes; variety was insane and each one was as tasty and unique as the next!
Also bought a tank top, but I *THINK* they only carry women's sizes, so I'd recommend clarifying before you get one.
Price is well worth it. Can't wait to go again.

I live just a few blocks from this place and think their coffee is one of the best in San Diego, donuts are tasty and their rooftop is a great spot to chill, but in the handful of times I have visited this location, the staff is never friendly and seems to be put out to provide service. Given all the options in LI, a little friendliness and courtesy goes a long way.

The cinnamon sugar was fantastic but the regular glazed was average at best. Devil's Vanilla and chocolate glaze were utter disappointments. Chocolate icing was tasteless and the cake donuts were dry and also without taste. If memory serves it was over $30 for 7 donuts.

This place is quite the treat. The donuts are a perfect consistency with a delightful array of flavor options. I recommend anything guava. Upstairs is a neat little seating area to watch over downtown.

✨️HIDDEN GEM✨️ Devil's Dozen Donuts is a Hidden Gem in San Diego and if you're down in Little Italy make point of stopping by. What a lot of people don't notice is they have fantastic upstairs seating with glass walls, a great breeze, plenty of space and comfortable benches/chairs. Great place for conversation, reading a book, or working on a laptop. It's hard to find places in San Diego to just chill out for a little bit. But this is wonderful! The donuts are made from scratch everyday and are extraordinary, and their lattes are fantastic. They have soy milk which a lot of places don't carry anymore. The vanilla bean donut is their best seller and deserves its reputation. The brown butter with crumbles on top is also delicious. Stop by and feel like you're getting away with something! 🥳🙌☕️🍩
