Gracious service, tasty shareable plates, solid bartending Luv the Hoxten Martini) ! What's not to like? Maybe the fact that they won't be in business much longer. Customers need to support our local restauranters who risk their capital & livelihood to bring us great food like this. Go see them before their gone!

Great restaurant. Awesome service and the food was incredible. Different but not trying too hard. We had the Roti (maybe my favorite) the pork belly skewer, brisket noodles and mushroom friend rice. All of it so good! Would have loved a longer cocktail menu but they had great options. Highly recommend.

Incredible as always. We had a blast sharing 6 plates - some of my favorites and some new choices. Service was friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience of eating at Hoxton Manor so much fun.

Arrived weeknight at 6pm and plenty of tables. Our group found our server super helpful (Ricky), all enjoyed our cocktails, and the food was inventive and flavorful. We ordered three starters and three entrees. Dumplings/broth was amazing as was the fried rice. Looking forward to trying other offerings next visit.

The restaurant was cute with dim lighting but it was extremely hot in there. We were sticking to our seats, the A/C needed to be turn down! We had the eggplant dip, which was delicious. The skewers were all good. The Octopus was not great, the potatoes that came with were good but I would not recommend that dish. We had some of their signature cocktails and the were every tart. Overall service was good but food was meh & it was just was too hot in there to enjoy the night.

I've been wanting to go to this restaurant for years, and it was so worth the wait. The food was exceptional. We tried the chicken skewers, oyster mushroom skewers, prawn fried rice, venison skewers, and grilled octopus. Cocktails were also very nice as well.

Wonderful staff, wonderful food and drinks. Local to the area but never made it in prior to yesterday's dinner. The food was phenomenal, especially the ribs. I also really enjoyed the flan for dessert.

I ate here with my partner who is an amazing chef of this particular type of cuisine, and therefore is very particular about restaurants that serve it. We both LOVED our meal and the server was friendly and helpful. Great cocktails too! My treatment was that near of a gladiator most decorated. I'm excited to return and bring my mom here tonight for her first time!

Food, service and ambiance were fantastic! Some of the best food and drinks we've ever had. The roti with eggplant dip, beef cheek dumplings, and brisket with noodles were so flavorful and delicious. Excellent gin selection. Loved it all and will be back again!

Overall the food is tasty but the portion is a little small for the price. Our server is very attentive and her service was good. One thing we don't like is the mandatory add on 18% for the kitchen staff + we gave 20% for the server so it's 35% on top of the food. This is probably the reason why I would NOT go back to this restaurant again. There are just so many other restaurants in San DIego to choose from.

Really loved the food, but the organic wines were not good. It took 3 tries to find a decent white. However, the waitstaff was great and warned us in advance that these wines are different. She suggested tasters first.

Quite frankly, one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. The coconut roti was perfect, and accompanied with the eggplant dip it made an amazing combination. I basically inhaled that dish. The green curry was subtle and packed quite the flavour punch, and the smoked tofu was just amazing! I will definitely come back for more soon.

Unnecessarily loud and dark. Could not hear waitstaff. Patrons at other tables were having to speak loudly to their seat mates. Place settings included knife and napkin only when requesting forks were given spoons to eat tartare on (3) crostini (for 2 guests) asked 3 staffers for two extra pieces of bread. One cocktail took twenty minutes. Oyster mushrooms were over-cooked. One platter was served twice. Music was turned down twice. Owner was obnoxious and argumentative. Waiter complained about being short staffed. Wait staff apologized for owners behavior and offered to wrap up our prawn entree because we wanted to leave. I offered to pay - handed over my credit card then owner comped meal and trashed my take away. Would not recommend. 0/10 stars.

The food is delicious. Some dishes are way too expensive though. $48 for crying tiger when you can get the same dish at a Thai restaurant for $10 seems ridiculous. Our waitress took our order and then mostly ignored our table. We kept having to flag down other people

We were a bit disappointed with the last visit at Hoxton Manor. Most of the dishes we ordered were a bit salty compared to the last time we visited. It appeared as if a different chef has prepared our food. Service was still great but the food taste needs to be consistent.
