Best burritos I've ever had! Unfortunately, I live on the other side of the country, where even the best Mexican food is only slightly above average. This place has ruined burritos for me. 15/10. Must try!

Surf and turf burrito is loaded with shrimps and carne asada meats. For the price it is , highly recommend trying it and salsa is perfect.

I work nearby and have been a longtime customer for years. WE LOVE THIS PLACE!! I love their chilaquiles. I prefer theirs over Cocina35. My husband and teammates always get their steak and egg burrito. It has A L O T of steak, the tortillas are delicious and the salsa is tasty! The service is always great, we call ahead and it's always ready on time. The employees are friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that they aren't open 24 hours, I crave their food all the time!

Consistancy is key to success !!! This place has it. The steak is cooked to order and seasoned propperly. My cali burrito wasnt soggy , just the right amount of steak. ????

Very nice little hole-in-the wall place for good Mexican food. Prices are reasonable and the food is good. The hot sauce they give you on the side is weirdly not spicy, at all. But it's flavorful so I guess it's fine. Lots of options if you are into some of the most unusual (well, unusual for American fare) types of meats. Staff is friendly, and the food is made to order so don't expect it to come out quickly.
While waiting for our interview for Global Entry somewhere near the Tijuana border, we dicided to grab something to eat at Don Lucio's Mexican Grill. Sometimes, we have to take the risk and try something unfamiliar, instead of going to our usual American fast food place.... This is different from my $50 dollar date reviews because our total billed was less than $25. This place is known for its Chilaquiles en Salsa Roja con Huevo burrito.... But we decided to get their most expensive burrito instead, Surf and Turf burrito. It costs $11.85; what? Most expensive item on their menu for that price is unheard of. TThe best value meal so far in San Diego. Check out the photo. The burrito is loaded with meat and huge shrimps; and you can really taste the meat and the shrimp and not the tomatoes and the onions. I'd recommend this place if you happen to be around Otay area, near the border.

11/22' Cool little taco shop tucked inside a shopping plaza close by the 905 & border. What led me to this was the Xmas outlet they had here by following the sign off otay mesa. Had the adobada burrito. Not the biggest but had plenty of flavor and the red salsa was ? for around $8. Ordered a veggie burrito for $8.50 and all it had was lettuce and rice with a small amount of pico. No veggies, beans, cheese or garnishes. Mentioned that I was disappointed and they didn’t have much to say.

This is a great place for burritos. Ask for the carnitas but hurry they go fast. Also the rolled tacos are amazing. I've never had a bad meal here. They are super friendly and they are bilingual.
