My coworkers and I have been going here for about 7 years now. There are a few taco shops in Miramar, but this one is a step above the others.
The portions served are plentiful for the price being paid. They could use a little more flavor in some dishes like rolled tacos or beef taco for those looking for a smaller quick meal. The burritos are as big as a forearm!
It's hard to say if the staff enjoy working there or not. None of them really smile or make you feel invited, and the lady behind the counter sounds like she's ready to take a nap at any moment.
As for the atmosphere, it's your typical taco shop. It gets pretty busy around lunchtime, but there is both indoor and outdoor seating. They keep the place pretty clean as well
Overall satisfying and that's why we continue to go back!

I haven't tried anything other than the burritos, but every burrito has been good. For breakfast my go to is the hash brown burrito and the jalapeño burrito for lunch. Owner is a great guy, super friendly and takes care of his customers.

Average Mexican restaurant, portion sizes are large so it definitely will satisfy a hungry appetite. They have three different salsas, two of which are spicy, they also have serve yourself chips. I had the bean and cheese burrito, I will update my review if I eat here again.

I’ve eaten at Donatos at least 20 times, Without question, the best thing on the menu is the chicken fajitas. Absolutely fabulous, Very little salt taste just a wonderful treat.
But, the true highlight is Angelica, She is the heart and soul this place every time we come in.
The six dollar draft beers are also wonderful, But the atmosphere is 100% Angelica welcoming everyone in with an authentic smile and greeting!
Parking: It’s a small area and lots of good restaurants for parking a little challenging. I have a bigger vehicle.

Terrible service. Ordered 5 different meals for my family. The rice and beans were cold on every plate and the beans were topped with rancid cheese that’s smelled awful. One plate was the shrimp a la diabla and it was ice cold. Notified the lady working at the counter and she had the cook reheat the shrimp and said “the cheese was just bought yesterday that’s not possible”. She seemed to not care at all that a majority of the food was cold and the cheese was expired and gross. Absolutely would not recommend this place and definitely won’t be coming back.
Also the hours state closing is at 9pm and the doors are locked at 7:10pm.
