So good we went there twice, had a really great vegan options that Felt just as flavorful and thoughtful as the omnivore counterparts. Open late, which is amazing for a night on the town. Super convenient location. Couldn’t ask for anything more!
Went in today for a quick lunch and only taco spot within blocks. Man what a let down. Order 3 carne asada tacos and when I got them they had pic de gallo. Never in my life did I see that. Also the carne asada was cold. I should’ve said something but my lunch break was catching up on me. Would I give it a second shot? Na one time is all it takes to not go back.

They refunded my order without notice and wouldn't pick up any calls. Won't bother ordering from them again. HOWEVER, the guy working did reach out eventually (should have to begin with) and was very nice. Turns out they didn't have half my order and just canceled. Gave store credit and the whole shebang. Would've appreciated being informed first

The tacos were dry and not very good, they tasted somewhat soapy. They also take advantage of people and over charged me knowingly.

So this place was quite the disappointment. The"guacamole" was basically just mashed avocado, morning else was in it. I ordered quesabirria tacos, not one drop of cheese on it. Definitely would not recommend

Almost any item on the menu can be made vegan, with vegan cheese and plant-based meat alternatives - such a great spot!

It’s great to kick off Labor Day weekend eating at the San Diego Gaslamp Ghost Heist Tacos. Yum.
I ordered a chicken tamale and they gave me a hotdog tamale. I honestly felt disrespected for the entire Mexican culture. I felt disrespect for Jesus Christ.

Saturday night after 6pm, waited 25 minutes for six tacos. There were three orders before us. Meat was not hot, almost not even warm if that makes sense. I think the wait at tacos el Gordo would have been worth it. The guy was nice but to spend 40 dollars for tacos that were fatty and not off the grill I would suggest else where. somewhere else

I’ve been coming to San Diego for a while and it has been tough finding a restaurant with good vegan options, especially a taco place. Thanks to Happy Cow and other reviewers, I found a place where I can enjoy some tacos with my colleagues. I had the Birria tacos and the pineapple tamale. All so good. I wish they served the Birria tacos with some extra dunking sauce, but no complaints. And the pineapple tamale was like a dessert, like a pineapple upside down cake. Chips and salsa were great as well. Wish they had some local beers available. I will return and tell all my plant based friends.
The newer owner who has a vegan restaurant in Ocean Beach called Littickers Mexican Grill. Has brought some of their menu to this location. Staff is flexible as I vow not to eat faux food. Family ran. Sweet tamales are on point. Tacos were big and delicious. Refried beans are made without lard. The place is clean.
I was in gaslamp not expecting to find a great vegan meal. Then I saw the words vegan on a sign and was SO HAPPY to see tons of vegan options! Birria tacos and carne asada fries were absolutely amazing. I cannot wait to go back and try more items. Truly the best vegan Mexican food I’ve had in a while. They have indoor / outdoor seating plus wine and beer. Don’t miss out on this place!
The BEST vegan Mexican food I’ve had in Diego! There are SO many options for vegans and non- vegans alike. The vegan Birria tacos and carne asada fries were amazing. So happy to have found this gem downtown. I will be going back… often! The service is quick and friendly and it’s a great place to people watch on the patio.
