Got the Motherload and the buckwheat pancakes — both were delicious and super satisfying. The flavors were spot on, portions generous, and everything felt freshly made. A great spot if you’re looking for hearty, flavorful food that hits the mark.

10/10 heathen pizza and cast iron shells. Great fried mushroom wings. Will certainly go back. Highly recommend.

I came here for brunch and it was amazing!

Tofu scramble calzone with tempeh, spinach, and spicy peppers with a carrot sauce on the side and a guava kombucha was a fantastic meal. Super satisfying, very filling, absolutely scrumptious, and plenty leftover.

By the way, another vegan eatery, Evolution Fast food, is in the back of this restaurant near the bathrooms.

Come here and enjoy!

This place took forever!!!! On a non-busy night, too. Don’t suggest :|

My friend and I loved this place. Everything was just right. They even have their own parking lot in a sometimes congested area. They have yummy gluten-free options. I would highly recommend. I will be back there soon.

We have been coming to Donna Jean for a few years but since their move to North Park their service has declined! Wait times are long. Take out takes about an hour and even when dining in. Food is amazing just not sure if it’s worth the wait.

The food is delicious, expensive but delicious. Fully plant based menu. The service was great. I ordered to-go and there was a hit of a wait but fresh food takes time! The peach cobbler is really tasty with the cream and the fancy garlic fries are basically smash potatoes but they are packed with flavor! I look forward to going back and trying more of the menu for sure. Indoor and outdoor seating (they share the space with Evolution and they have been declining over the past few years so that made me a bit leary). It really was an enjoyable meal though.

Food was decent overall, but the pizza was a bit burnt and lacked flavor. Salad was okay. The server asked if I wanted any sauce, and I said yes — but I was later charged $3.00 for a side of ranch. This charge wasn’t mentioned until I saw the bill, which felt misleading.

This was my second visit. The first experience was a little better, but the pizza still isn’t great. I probably won’t be coming back, though maybe I’d try the pasta if I did

We love the new location and it’s open air feel. Great new menu items as well. We will be back!

I really wanted to try Donna Jean, but unfortunately, I never even got the chance. We were told the wait would be around 45 minutes, which was totally fine. But after 2 full hours, we were still waiting — with no updates, no apologies, and no end in sight. The restaurant eventually closed without letting us even know that we wouldn't be able to dine in.

I understand busy nights happen, but managing expectations and being honest with customers is part of the experience. If the wait is going to be that long, just say so upfront. Leaving people hanging is not cool. Seeing other reviews saying a similar thing leads me to believe this is not a one time occurrence.

Disappointed we never got to try the food, but after that experience, I’m not sure if we will be back.

Extremely disappointed to say it has steeply gone downhill at the new location. The tables and chairs are cheap feeling and wobbly, and the whole ambiance just feels extremely cold. And for $20, the pesto I was so excited for was literally a bowl of pasta with pesto sauce - nothing on it, no garnish, no more complex flavor like it used to have. I could have made it at home for a couple bucks. Family’s meals were the same, mediocre at best. The shrooms were still amazing though (phew).

Used to be a favorite beautiful place we frequented and raved to our friends about, but not anymore.
