I’m so glad we found this gem, especially since it’s so close to work! While there aren’t any signs pointing to the location, just follow Google Maps, and it’ll lead you right there. Do not be turned off that it is right at the prison. The café is inside and at the end of the Admiral building. There is a lot of parking but better to park behind the building. We were greeted by the owner, who’s incredibly friendly and he let know that they update their menu about every six months and offer weekly specials. I wanted to try a few items before writing my review, and I’ve now tried the California Burrito, Spam Musubi, and a Grilled Chicken Wrap with Ranch (which was not on the menu). Everything I’ve had so far has been fantastic! The California Burrito was a great size with generous portions of meat, the Spam Musubi was so delicious I wished I had ordered two, and the chicken wrap was really good. Even though the wrap isn’t listed on the menu, the owner was more than accommodating, making sure I got exactly what I wanted. The portion sizes are generous, and everything is fresh. The customer service is top-notch, making the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Do not fear! The cafe is NOT inside the prison 😆 It is accessible to all civilians. There is an unmanned booth, just pass it and keep going. If you're following Google maps it will take you exactly there. There is plenty of parking. You will not find an actual looking restaurant. It is like a cafeteria inside the admin building. Do not be put off by this!! They have a great variety of food and amazing customer service. The owner took our order and was super helpful with all the questions we had about the place. He let us know of their many catering services, weekly specials and was overall super nice. They do have some items not listed, just ask and he's more than likely to accommodate. He let us know they change the menu up every 6 months or so which is awesome in my opinion. Donovans has been there for 35+ years. Food is very fresh and the place is immaculate. Will definitely be going back.

We will check in Sacramento, and Washington. Make it fair this whole facility. Vend machines shameful these last 15 yrs. Really. Why not equalization. Not favoritism accords to US ,CA. Foreign for NONE MEX controls.
