The crème brûlée doughnut was one of the best donuts I’ve had in a long time. Would definitely go back and try some other things.

Found this place thanks to the Underground Donut Tour, it was one of our 4 stops that morning. The place is adorable, lots of thought went into their build-out. I don’t want to give anything away, but be sure to stop and use the QR code by each photo to see the augmented reality. Super fun!
Their website says that they have Vegan options, I wasn’t able to give one of them a try. I didn’t ask our tour guide, but it’s likely because we did the 12:00 tour and not the 9am one – or maybe they just didn’t have them on the day of our visit. My tour companions thoroughly enjoyed their donuts, we’ll have to go again so that I can try their vegan options!
The location is terrific, just a few blocks off of Broadway. I don’t recall seeing any seating in the shop, but there’s a few tables set up in the hall of the building they’re located in.
I look forward to visiting again. Thanks for reading my review!

Probably one of our favorite finds while touring San Diego! An awesome selection of donuts and the service was stellar. We enjoyed all of our donuts--some outside seating available too!

It was sad that French toast Donuts are only for weekends, Fri - Sun and they ran out of strawberry shortcake donuts. Thankfully enough, they have a bunch of other thrilling choices such as orange blueberry scone +. Donuts here are huge. They give you donuts in a box. Even three of donuts make the box almost full. I love Kona, the coffee here as well ☕️ 😍.
They have many tables outside for families and indoor for couples, which can be considered oasis in the middle of the town. Enjoy!

We always saw this place and wanted to try it. There's been many times that they had very little Donuts at the time we stopped by. This time at 2:00 p.m. they still had a wide selection of donuts. Their glazed donut ended up being pretty dry and for whatever reason only half glazed.

The donuts at the Donut Bar were large, fresh, and delicious! I love donuts, and Big Poppa Tart was the craziest, most tasty donut I’ve ever tried. I got the strawberry one, and I can only describe it as like a party in my mouth. A must try! The staff was also very friendly and helpful. We met Chef Santiago, who even gave us an extra donut on the house! I wish I had a Donut Bar at home- if I am back in San Diego, I will definitely eat here again!

The store name should be easy to understand. The staff was bright and cheerful, so I had no idea what they were saying, but they kindly and enthusiastically explained the products to me. Donuts are a big calorie monster. The taste is not as tasty as in Japan, but it is much more refined than in the past. The only drawback is that the price is too high! I can't really complain because sandwiches at the supermarket cost about the same, but they cost $5 each. At the current rate, if you add coffee and tip, it's 1000 yen each! !
5000 yen if you pack one box! ! !

This is not the original Donut Bar. It's still a cute place but seating is in the hall next to it. There's no bar and I missed the French Toast donut!
Staff was super friendly and told us their favorites.

So good! Love the vibe, donuts are huge and delicious!
Easily the biggest donuts I have ever indulged in and at a very fair price. Friendly and kind staff helped us make good choices (creme brûlée and Nutella). We took our treats to go but there were a few standing tables in the shop.

The Creme Brulee is divine! Like heaven in my mouth. From the crunch (caramel) to the chew (dough) to the goo (custard). Absolutely amazing 😍🤩! I can't even try another donut because I can't not get that one. Fun interactive walls are a trip too.
