Very busy little local donut shop here in 4S ranch. Everything is good here, everything is fresh, and everything tastes amazing. We were lucky enough to grab chocolate dipped donuts and honey curlers still hot from just being made. Grabbed a dozen bagels for the house as well. Will be back again.

I go from time to time to the Donut Touch in Mira Mesa. It's fairly expensive but pretty good. This one in 4s Ranch is awful. The $4 apple fritter was paper thin. And the coffee was as watery as I ever tried.

The food, the service and the atmosphere are awesome. Has a small town bagel store type feel.

Ripoff. $15 for a sub sandwich. Very little meat and cheese. All lettuce. Then had the audacity to ask for a tip. Total ripoff.

We go there in the morning sometimes for a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel, which is really delicious. They also have a wide selection of homemade donuts which are larger than any donuts you’ll find at the chains. They are more pricey but They are 2 to 3 times the size of regular donuts.

The staff is always friendly, smiling, and ready to help you select your donuts or sandwiches or whatever you want. They do specialty ones for birthdays. I recommend paying them a visit. They’re in the shopping plaza next to Starbucks and the Shell gas station.

Normally - a fave. The regular gentleman in the mornings (dark hair ponytail) is always so great. But the other gentleman (younger, wearing a champion sweatshirt) was a bit rude when I simply inquired about the dill on the lox bagel. I asked him about it and he clapped back a little. I pointed to the picture and writing above and he was kind of rude/short while saying, we don’t have it - they need to change it. Like, how could I have dared asked him?! I don’t know, not a great experience. The egg in the croissant must have been microwaved quite a bit because it ended up a little chewy and husband’s bagel was burnt. But I think the ultimate lesson is we probably won’t go back.
