Draft used to be an awesome place. Their service and the way they treat customers have went to shit. After being seated on the patio while the restaurant wasn’t super busy, we were completely forgotten about. Even after telling a server walking past, she just shrugged it off and didn’t seem to care. During this wait I counted 3 tables get up and walk out never ordering. Thats a hell of a business plan to keep letting money walk out the front door.

Seated and forgotten about no service just menus

Our server was attentive and patient with our group of 7. He didn't even mind when we changed tables because it was too cold sitting my the open door towards the ocean. Kudos for the festive decorations and holiday spirit throughout the restaurant - even the bathroom had a tree!

We love this place around Christmas and have made it a yearly experience. However this year it took over 15 minutes for someone to even come to our table and take a drink order and that was after asking. I understand the place gets busy but that's just too long. Food is excellent but definitely on the expensive side. Hard to take a family of four out anymore.

Last year we really enjoyed the Miracle Christmas pop up at draft. However, this year it felt different. It felt messier. For example, the Santa hats they had as the back of the chair covers, were all torn and ripped and dirty. Last year they were probably new and reused this year, which is fine if they are still OK. However, it looked very worn down and dirty. If you promote the Christmas decoration, do it good and beautiful. Also, the food was not so great. Everything was very greasy and the menu choices were not that great. The drinks were ok but not everything was available. This is all unfortunate cause it's a beautiful location right at the beach, and I guess they are trying to make it Christmasy with all the lights and decorations of trees. But they kind of just missed the mark. It didn't look like they really put in an effort, it looked more like they just wanted to cheaply copy the Christmas pop-ups that really put their heart in it. I would not recommend.

The ladies at The Draft hostess stand are the sweetest. Our server was outstanding! Food is always on point. Delicious and delivered at the perfect temperature. Their iced tea is freshly brewed. View is the best at the beach. Holiday decor. A+++.

We came to Draft for the Christmas trivia and it was so much fun! We sat at the bar and Lance was our bartender and he couldn't have been better. The bar was really busy but he always checked up on us. The entire staff are really great and the bar is dog friendly. We had the wings which are 50 cents on Wednesdays and they were really good. The buffalo has the perfect amount of spice. Would definitely come back

Super accommodating staff, and blast during the holidays. I'm obsessed with their truffle fries and seasonal cocktails. Also love their little coffee shop around the corner for hanging on the beach after.

The wait time for my food to go was about 23 min. The broccolini and the potato had alot of oil. I hope it was not deep fried! The salmon was good. The herbs were tasty. I ordered at the bar. The customer service is awful at the bar. I later came back and ordered a to go desert, it took about 12 min. I asked her if it was going to take longer. The server said that the kichen was In charge and they had a long list. I informed her that the to-go should be prioritized. However, she said it goes based on the list and who ordered 1st. Honestly, the bar customer service stinks because they know either way the drunk people will end up tipping them. The people around creates a good atmosphere.

Duval on Tap - Duval on Tap --- If you like beer you are in for a treat with this Belgian Import..... Bars that pick up European Imports like Shakespeare Pub with it's British Brands are a Beer Lovers Valhalla

We waited 20 minutes for service on a very quiet Tuesday evening, but no one came by—staff seemed more focused on their phones than customers. Unfortunately, we ended up leaving without ordering. Very disappointing experience, and we don’t plan to return.

The service has never been the greatest but the location is good with nice views. The hostess, whoever is on, are always rude, they ignore you and you stand there until they acknowledge you. Yesterday we took family that came to visit, and they told us it would be about a 25 minute wait, honestly I was expecting a longer wait since it was 9 of us. They took my number and said we would receive a text when our table is ready, so it’s been 24 hours, still no text. We did ask for an update and their excuse made no sense, they were waiting for another party to get there first to seat them at one table and then sit us at the other table, but yet both tables were open. Like I said, I the service hasn’t always been the greatest but yesterday was the worst.

If you are in Mission Beach o we the winter holidays you have to stop in here. The Christmas decorations are over the top!
Monster sized burgers, great service and plenty of options with free parking outside their doors. Patio facing the beach is gorgeous ! Great place to watch the sunset and have a cold one. Watch out for the spicy margaritas! They really have a pronounced chili flavor. Pass on the guac and chips - the salsas were spicy hot without good flavor. Instead order the to-die-for pretzel bites with thick cheese sauce. Perfect balance of sweet and salty, served straight out of the oven, chewy exterior and soft, puffy interior that dips into the cheese sauce just right. Make a reservation through their website or you will have a wait.
